Talks at Google welcomes writer, director and award-winning actor Edward Norton to talk about his long acting career and new film, Motherless Brooklyn, a story about a private detective afflicted with Tourette's syndrome who tries to solve the murder of his mentor and only friend.
Alongside his work in cinema, Norton is an environmental activist and social entrepreneur. He is a trustee of Enterprise Community Partners, a non-profit organization for affordable housing, serves as president of the American branch of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, and is a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity.
Motherless Brooklyn is out in theaters November 1st, 2019.

Motherless Brooklyn really is an instant classic that will stand the test of time growing in popularity as time goes by. Edward Norton deserves recognition for making a brilliant film. Congratulations Mr Norton.

It's an excellent, gentle movie even though there were guns and gangs and the jazz music was so good as well. I'm expecting Noton's next movie very much.

Hi there! If you are in tenth grade it means that you are actually so young it would be enough automatically to make you land many ranks up (for already at just 30, neuronal plasticity isn't that elastic anymore...) even if you need -and you do- some more time until you make that dream come true. If one of your main dreams is to get to work at Google, that means you are already into (meaning into IT marketing, IT development, science, maths, finances, and linked disciplines). Considering the age group you belong to, if you are a good student, I'm very confident about you accomplishing that goal in a not so far future. You could very easily start by tipping some search concepts on the very Google search window, like "how to get hired by google", "how to work for Google", or even simple: "Google work for us", etcetera. You will very fast have the whole range of official statements, requirement listings, and other gateways. You will be also able to accede to other non-google related sources, like forums or opinion-editorials within Google itself. Then you just read yourself to the proper grade of clarification (meaning you need to read a lot!); that very clarification will help you to attain determination. Soon after you will be reaching the age needed to work for and at Google. You'll manage; best of lucks and God bless you!

Edward who....? Dude now has a bad reputation as an actor.....; apparently confuses himself with both a writer, director, and producer in any project he is hired to act in..... and now he is reaping the benefits of being virtually blacklisted.

I think Norton is one of the finest actors of his generation. Reading your comment, it seems like your whole opinion of him is based on hearsay and gossip tabloids you follow. With the kind of erudite knowledge he has of film-making and masterful acting, I'd say Norton is definitely up there among the greats!
