Around Christmas 2010 I was picking up some extra work at a Christmas tree farm up in Sonoma and Ed Norton came and got a tree. My boy helped him and tied his tree to his car while he walked around. When it was done my boy went up to him and was like, "excuse me, Mr. Norton, your tree is ready." And Ed looked at him all pissed and was like, "how do you know my name?" My dude was like, "because you're Ed Norton..." And he gets more pissed and is like, "No! How do you know my name?" And my dude just repeated himself, "because you're Ed Norton..." and went to go help someone else. I saw the whole shit. Bizarre as hell.

The film he’s talking about was serviceable and didn’t waste the acting talent but I think it was summed up perfectly on Wikipedia: Peter Travers, film critic for Rolling Stone, pointed out that when "two Don Corleones team up", he expected "the kind of movie that makes people say, 'I'd pay to see these guys just read from the phone book'". However, he concluded, "There's nothing you can't see coming in this flick, including the surprise ending. Quick, somebody get a phone book. It’s a good flick though, 7 outta 10

The movie he's talking about: "The score" (2001). The good news: Robert de Niro, Marlon Brando and Edward Norton are in the same movie; the bad news: the plot and execution of the movie aren't that interesting. Anyway, I guess there were great anecdotes like this.
