I don't know what I think of the Seymours. Thomas and Edward had rough and unpleasant incidents in their lives and both paid the ultimate price. Sister Jane had no problem becoming engaged to Henry within hours of Anne Boleyn's execution. She married him after another short period of time. Perhaps palace staff needed that long to change the interior decoration from Anne to Jane. Things like finding and eradicating all the wood carvings of hearts and the initials A + H. Sickening thought.... (I know a criminal who has been married a bunch of times and all his wives have had similar first names. We think this has to do with creating confusion in legal matters. For example, I'll make up a similar list using a different letter; Mary, Marie, Maria, Mara, Moira. Anyway, MY POINT IS, Henry should have chosen women with identical first initials and similar names. It could have saved a lot of time wasted hacking out initials, changing monograms, etc. LOL!)
