I don't think so. He was paid to keep mouth shut. What he actually achieved - us government stopped spying data incoming to US from outside, but Google started spying us in very same way. Before that it was used for national security, now it is used for advertising purposes only.

What worries me is that there would come a day when we wouldn't have a Edward Snowden or Julian Assange. They are National Resources keeping us informed of the world as it is.
Snowden knows what agency in America is responsible for the creating of policy that is corruping "the rules" of policies and procedures. He never once reveals in his speeches. He should be telling people that the public needs to form a grassroots assembly against this evil entity. Snowden used to inform who that agency is when he first came u der seige, but not any more. I'm just letting you know that even Snowden's speech is being Censored! Pretty scary! It would be far better for the cause of freedom for all if Snowden told who this powerful creepy evil agency is.

We might accidentally have society "decentralized", whether we want it or not. A number of threats are converging on us, from coronal mass ejection to nuclear war to a pesticide-based dust bowl (complete collapse of all ecosystems), incurable super bug epidemic, etc. Because we do nothing to harden our electrical grid, medical system, emergency ration stores, etc., every year that passes, increases the probability that society will collapse when one of these events inevitably happens. Doesn't get more decentralized than isolated pockets of survivors.

He's a good talker and also a good listener. Both ways, he demonstrates how to think things through. He does what even parents seem to have stopped doing in the last few decades: he considers the consequences.

This man' is a heroe. I believe humanity will do what is necessary in the not too distant future. It'd not as hard as we think and the rewards are so much greater.. Most people can't even imagine how great the world could be.
I will give two examples of how I was watched the last few days: Streemed a Snowden documentary on Swedish screening, and the next day RU-vid wanted me to watch Snowden stuff. I named a photo on my computer Stairway To Heaven. Did not post it, yet very soon RU-vid suggested this Led Zep song to me. This means that they are in our computers, not just on our internet feed. Please tell me you have noticed this too!

My understanding is that Julian Assange was instrumental in Edward Snowden's escape from captivity, but I have seen nothing from him since Julian Assange's recent demise. I am surprised at this behaviour and truly expected some support for Julian from him, not his silence.
