As a Guard dogs fan. I get it. If I was looking at things objectively, I would question it too, but I watch these guys everyday. Vogt has the boys playing loose and aggressive. All of this and the starting pitching, which has always been a strength, has been a weakness because of injury. If you would’ve said we’d be 30-17 and no Bieber for the year, I would’ve said pass what you’re smoking. Really enjoying this ride.

It’s beginning to feel even more magical than 2022! I get that on paper people think they won’t get it done but I wish they would get more credit. Even media people in Cleveland all seem to be waiting for the other shoe to drop like Chris Rose

Bullpen has been stellar and our bats are still hummin. I know a lot of people are still surprised by the results so far but as Jake said, organization should deserve the benefit of the doubt that they are doin somethin right. All that being said, just being able to keep it together after losing Bieber and Kwan going down for a bit still makes it feel like we're playing with house money

The fact of the matter is that Cleveland won the Lindor trade by keeping José Ramírez and acquiring and locking down Andrés Giménez and his platinum glove for the next 10 years. As for this year, David Fry is clutch and hitting great, Freeman’s average has jumped like crazy since he started filling Kwan’s spot, and Roccio has quickly become a dang good shortstop. Let’s Go Guards let’s see where this thing takes us 🔴🔵⚪️

@@MIKEY_585 Indians weren’t gonna be able to pay both Lindor and JRam, and between them two JRam has been statistically a better hitter than Lindor since Lindor’s trade in 2020. That coupled with the hitting and defense Giménez has provided for the Guards in 22 and so far this year I’d call it a winning trade. At this point I wouldn’t trade Andres for Lindor. There’s an article about it that goes into the stats over the last 4 years and compares the contracts of each player, and in both play and monetarily Cleveland has come out better than the Mets.

I guess I’m still new and haven’t had my heart broken by this franchise yet. It is rather depressing to hear all the personalities who cover Cleveland be so negative and always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I believe in this group of young guys so much and I wish more people were excited about them

The biggest things with Seattle right now are Julio not performing like he should be, and position players being forced into positions they aren't comfortable in with all the injuries right now. Dylan Moore and Josh Rojas can't be everyday players, yet that's what they have been lately. Haniger has been forced to play almost every day and its really wearing on him already. If our players can get healthy and they can put these guys into the situations they were brought in for, that offense will start to click, and things will turn around. I'm not holding my breath though because our guys can never stay healthy.

Rojas, is an everyday player though my guy😂 since he’s come over from AZ his slash line has been .286/.346/.420 with an OPS of .766, add the solid defense and he’s earned the right to be out there everyday. With the recent production DMO has earned it as well, at least against lefties. There’s only a few moves I could see for the M’s making a lot of sense 1.) trading for Pete Alonso, not to play first, but to replace Garver (even though I want to see him get it going) at DH 2.) Trading for either Michael Conforto (if he stays healthy and keeps hitting) or Tommy Pham for a lot cheaper than what you’d have to give up for Pete. The M’s offense needs to get it moving but Canzone is back and clicking, Raley as well, plus J.P. is back and can add offense. Polo will get it going too and then our offense will do what it’s built to do consistently

Rangers are in shambles. Nothing clicks at the same time. We have a whole rotation on the IL. Our depth isn't overperforming like last year. And we are topped out on budget (most of it sitting on IL), so making any additions at the deadline is most likely not gonna happen. Also, Langford and Carter have been AWFUL when they play. Lineup is not deep when nobody hits. Way too much feast or famine in the lineup and rotation. The bullpen steady sucks, nothing new there. We don't develop pitching. So, when the old guys inevitably go down, we're grasping at anything that resembles big league pitching...

When they played the pirates and the cardinals at that point they were above 500, and giants and padres would be above 500… if the Phillies hadn’t won their series/swept. Still a soft schedule for sure so time will tell in later summer

Re mariners: yes currently it feels mostly the same regarding offense. We need to make a move at the deadline to bulk out the bats. JP needs to comeback from IL. Julio needs to figure it out. To me Seattle needs another relief pitcher with brash out for the year. Canzone finally back, Raley has been hitting well, I’m really a fan of Moore playing second base, Polanco has been less than desirable. So right now waiting to see how Seattle gets the line up figured out. But OF isn’t as a needed. DH maybe but for me relief is needed most. Munoz and Stanek can’t be your only solid relief options.

@@mamoose10 Should of said allow players to cry in the clubhouse, I can’t imagine it’s a good vibe when one of your highest paid teammate is sobbing in his locker in front of staff and teammates. Also he has absolutely quit on himself, he was looking like a lock hof in 2022 but now not even halfway through the season he wants to give up on the role he’s getting payed millions to do. All players face adversity, you just have to play through it and not give up on yourself or your abilities.

as a Mets fan, go root for another team. we’re good without you. what a gross take. you sound like every other spoiled fan. dude had an horrendous injury, was ready to come back last year if we needed him down the stretch, has done everything he can to prep for this moment, and he’s floundering. homeboy needs his swag back, and acting like this won’t get him back any faster. saying he quit on himself, what a loser take. dude needs to get his legs under him again. look at the trajectory from 19 to 22, it takes time. he’s done it once, it won’t take that long again. plus, if you were a fan, you’d know there was no one in that clubhouse except for SRF and Lindor and the dregs of the media who had just spoken to, as they were being ushered out. if he held it together another 30 seconds this story isn’t out there and you’re another dickhead punching air.
