EE Broadband Review | Is EE Fibre Broadband Any Good?

Yes - historically Virgin Media has had the worst upload speeds but their network upgrades should fix this. They are planning 2 Gbps symmetrical deployed nationwide by the end of 2028. Openreach is also pushing out upgrades so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

​@@broadbandsavvy no - the only think Virgin Media will fix, is the monthly bill. I do have optic on my wall. My first contract was with some kb/sec min. speed. On my second contract is zero. With other words, Virgin media does not guarantee any upload speeds any more , and that mean - no internet. You can't access any internet resource when you are unable to send a single bit. Yes, they do have "amazing" adv. speed, but guarantee upload is 0. That's happen 2023, 3 or 4 years after VM does have fiber optic on the street. The service is getting worst year after year. More and more limitations, prices are unreal. Contabo does provide cpu, ram, electricity , HDD and 200mbit/up AND download for about 4-10 pound per month... In UK ISPs does not give you home server, does not pay for you the electricity bill that been used for their devices, on top of that is 18-24 months contract. Speeds - when and if. Honestly, wires, does cost some money, servers - sure. But 30 pound for 300mb adv. speed, guarantee - 0.. I know every job, company etc. does have value, but to charge the people such amount of money for such a service..

Do you know what when I use to be on EE broadband I only had it for 8 months no problems with speeds or uploads everything was fine but in about beginning of April this year I received an email from EE saying my broadband that evening saying they are cancelling my broadband completely tomorrow midnight so I phoned them they said that I requested to leave EE which I didn't. So they've sent me my final bill. I decided to go with BT everything went fine and ordered next day my order was cancelled and I said there's a fault on they end. So I decided to go with sky no problems answer I've had my activation date in 7 days which was awesome but BT on there end its 14 days. But in my opinion I would say EE and BT are one of the worst providers that I've ever experienced never ever had that experience before on I was disgusted from them
