Eedris was so underrated, no surprise he is not getting his flowers while he is still alive. It's so like Nigerians to not recognise people like Eedris until after they have died.
The truth is that Eedris might not be the major person who promoted Afro music, but he was the first indigenous rapper we started listening to. Infact he made us start listening to Naija hiphop rap no doubt
That's not true...... we had a couple of rappers then before him and alongside, people like Dr fresh, modenine, jahbless, etc and they were doing pretty well that time.... if you're a lover of rap music from way back you will definitely know this history
I was already listening to a few Nigerian rappers before Idris came onto the scene. It's true that Idris had a strong voice when he started, but that doesn't make him the first Nigerian rapper. I'm in my mid-50s, while some of you listening to Idris's interviews may be under 40. Many paved the way in the music industry before Idris. If anyone should be speaking about the impact on the Nigerian music industry, it should be Baba Fela. Idris, stop attacking both the old and new Nigerian artists. Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has achieved incredible success by taking Nigerian Afrobeat to an international level. Stop attacking him and other younger artists who are excelling despite the hate. Instead of insulting our young Nigerian superstars, collaborate with them. Remember when you disrespected Charlie Boy? You failed to respect many of the pioneers in the music industry, like Daddy Shoki, Tony One Week, and Mr. T, yet you demand respect and recognition from the younger generation. I can't stand nonsense. Just stop.
I cried like a baby when he said the wife told the doctor right there and then. The two shall become one. That also shows he is a good man especially to the wife
Yes oooo. My mother is very advanced in age… when JAGA JAGA came out, it was and still one of her best songs… Whenever she gets fed up with Nigerian situations, that’s the only song she sings…
Eedris Bro, I know this day will come. You are changing the perception of all our young youths from the lies they've heard about Idris Abdulkareem before. But you need to know that this kind of movement is not something that you can just chicken out like some other Musicians do when you've kickstarted it. So be very very ready for what you have already started.
No matter what anyone says in contrary to what Idris has said, I won't just loving him. He gave the new generation of Artistes a platform to shine. Take it or leave it. 🦍
This guy keeps on mention names of people who helped him 30 20 years ago, that is how you know a man who is greatfull , some people don even forget people when help them last year ,, you hear them say na God force them to help me, but God did not force you to continue to appreciate them, am happy God gave you a second chance, and we are going to help you spread the message , just say it and we are going to share it, who one die make e die
For years now Eedris's story on this issue has always been been consistent and from the story the guy from 50's crew narrated it shows that he wasn't lying. Now I've been called over sabi by people I'm trying to stand up for and I can relate. Once you're outspoken it can sometimes be perceived as being arrogant.
Take it or leave it, none of the new generation of Artistes today has done much for the nation more than Edris. Long live the king. We stand for the truth. 👊🐐🦍💯
The Revolution Musician of all seasons (Eedris Abdulkareem) keep speaking for all Nigerians, and Never relent... "Baba Idris i feel your pain, i know what you're trying to do for us Nigeria Artists. I will always happy to love you... Idris all the way 👍❣️💯" says by RacVentsinc himself.
Some of them beg their way to be in the show with 50, but he was a confirm act to be in the show. That is the difference. He had contract to be there. Some of them didn’t had contract to be there.
@@iamike_nna He’s actually telling a true story. There was a another event where the artists were asked to leave the backstage as an international artist was about to come. The mistake there was that he confused one of the event for the one with STAR.
May God help and be with you Eedris baba all lies will be exposed this 2024 God is involved you're great and a legend as long as Nigerian music is concerned Regardless of how any ungrateful new cat feels No matter how many people who speaks and stand for the truth the world kills God will keep raising new ones God's will can never be stopped
If habitual liars lie one LIE put for ground, and everybody believe am for long time, they themselves go later start to believe that LIE to be TRUE, and them go even ready to die for this fake TRUTH.
I appreciate Eedris for standing up for himself as a real man should. A majority of us Africans, Nigerians particularly are sheep. We will never talk when we should talk. Our voices are always mellow when we should speak and vice versa when we shouldn't. Nobody is perfect. Eedris is not. I am not. But nobody how you cut it, The Remedies really set this whole Afrobeats thing going and i appreciate Eedris for his activism, he could have taken the easy route singing party songs and so forth. It is the conscious artistes that will continue to be remembered long after they are gone.
Baba Keke admitted that Late Raymond Dokpesi was the brain behind their idea of promoting African Hip Hop. Late Dokpesi told Baba Keke his brother in-law and others working in his Radio station to promote African Hip Hop instead of foreign hip hop they do play on radio then.
You legend and legend for life, no body gonna change that. If some persons are not happy for the fact the You made it happen, let them go and hug the transformer. I'm a huge fan Boss.

I knew MR REMEDY personally even before that occurrence I’M Titled the STRONG MAN OF MOKOLA back then!!! I stand with Idris, I will like to give him something Cash??? Bless Him
That's not a criteria to know someone is telling the truth. I'm not saying eedris is lying but having a consistent story doesn't always mean someone is telling the truth
No doubt the incidence that occurred between him and 50cent indeed triggered global recognition of our Nigerian or African musians as it were! to that extent he has paid his dues actually!!!!!
Souq news, thanks for bringing our own legend Idris❤❤ Abdulkareem on the show; He did paved the way for international Artists to start respecting Africans, especially Nigerian.
@@abbeym3tv556 How can u be saying such. Some of u has no manners at all jux manage to buy 100 naira data come online and insult people greater than ur entire family smh
Idris has been shown love by all Nigerians. There is no doubt about it. It's only mistake is talking down on our biggest export at d moment, while praising others.
He's not talking him down, u are just a little forgetful, d first time burna boy said dat nobody paved d way for him tin people criticized burna and said he was proud, wizkid davido are always mentioning 2face Psquare dbanj everytime, wasn't it lynxx dat signed Burna to his record label aristocrat records
@@tojusote4896 there is an old interview where idris talked down on burna boy. You need to watch, so u know he hates burna boy. Burna boy's reaction isn't just bcoz of his recent interview. By the way, Burna boy has also granted interviews in the past to acknowledge d role wizkid played in his career.
I came here to connect all the dots. And I just finished watching Young's Buck's account of what happened on that plane, Eddy Remedy and Tony Tetuila interviews with Daddy Freeze, and Eedris's account on that podcast. Aside that Eedris has his flaws (from The remedies saga to acting like a bully), him apologizing to 50cent on stage, was a good thing. He may not have 'fought for the industry' in every sense of the word, but he played a part in how the nigerian industry treated our local artistes around international artistes. Thats all!
Eedris remains legend ❤. Dem freeze and co dey fight against him because they can't and will never be at his level. Besides, dem be political errand boys. That's why dem no dey sing against wicked 🖤 government.
This guy even carry olympic touch and the media made it look like he did nothing and was bad, me oooooo people are wicked, now I no why most artists did not like him, whaooooo genZ better listen and learn when you are doing the right thing the society we be against you and try to push you down, God bless Idris we love , I am proud to be part of your generation
He was the only true revolusinalist during is time, let's give him his flower, he was the only one spoke about what was happening in our university, he spoke about what Nigeria is facing today, I its obvious this fuu has always stood up for the truth, before a woman could give a man his kindny guys this guy most be special , and when he his gone we start celebrating him, why not celebrate him now why he his still with us codus idris , respect
Big up bro.. all this indomie boys dropping messages on here wont understand how it all started from yaba tech.... i feel you bro and please we need you so much in this country... nigeria jaga jaga....
Edrisssssss we love you man you are the true king of Afrobeat nobody can take that away from you we dont care what others say about you, you gve Nigerian music a big voice.
When you listen to this podcast you will understand that edris my legendary said exact thing he said on the other podcast… So now you will see who is lying😂 I will always respect and regard you EAK You are a super hero
Na wa o All this while this interview made me know you're a Muslim. I thank God for making me love you and people genuinely regardless of religious background or affiliation... Omo I thank God Almighty. Thanks Eedris for being yourself, and the positive impact for both the industry and the country.
No man is perfect but I really love this guy than burna boy just by listen him burna boy can not fight for the common man like this,I wish Eedris come at this early age I could have be the nest fela not burna boy or fela children
The same 50 cents that left his table and came held me in Houston when I was having a meeting some business associates and he held me knowing I’m a Nigerian and I brought the Edris situation up. I have photos and video clip
