Good quality kit EXCEPT the ANL fuse has an AIC of only 10kA and is not appropriate for lithium use. This 280-304AH battery has a short circuit current of around 18000A so EEL need to modify the kit to fit a 250A class T fuse with AIC of 20kA. an NH fuse (which have 80kA AIC) would also technically be possible but won‘t fit the case from the size.
Would it be possible to modify this 12V DIY Battery Box Kit for 280Ah/302Ah to 24V for REPT 150Ah cells? No big modifications are needed because REPT 150Ah cells are the same size as 302Ah, just half of their thickness. It would just be enough to modify the top bar above the cells with more holes for the preassure release velves. It would be great to have a smaller DIY 24V 3,84Kwh battery kit in the same battery box as the original 12V version.
