I ordered the Delta Stretch pants after watching one of your earlier videos. The pants arrived with the hidden zipper only sewn half way up. I contacted their support. They sent me another pair for free and had me keep the first pair. I had those repaired by a friend that sews. Then ordered a couple more pairs. My favorite pants ever and great customer service.

I’ve been carrying a knife for 25+ years. For a while I went to real cheap knives because I tended to lose them. My wife bought me a Skeletool for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It’s just so useful. I don’t like the knife nearly as much as a dedicated folder, but the other tools more than make up for it. Just gotta pick up the bit kit now!

One of my leatherman EDC is the leatherman Tread, TSA approved, I also slip extra bits in the tread from the bit kit. I went from a Skeltool to a leatherman signal, similar, more outdoor applications. Thanks for all the reviews

Skeletool is my go-to EDC as well. Carabiner feature is underrated- Keep it clipped to my belt loop so no pocket space is eaten up. The pliers come in handy for the most unique type of tasks- taking thorns off my pants, just grabbing things I wouldn't want my hands to. The end part of the tool works great as a little pry bar and extra flathead in some cases. It can't do it all but it does 98% of all I ever need.

the skeletool has mods you can get, like swapping the knife for a disposable scalpel blade, theres also a block that goes in the clip to allow it to take regular bits. (my extra bit fell out in the first month of owning it) you can get a ratchet drive, bit set (one you mentioned), and lil carrier for it on amazon. its a pretty sweet multitool.

I dig my Warrior Mini. I did learn the hard way to use the built-in lockout function... It inadvertently came on in "turbo" mode in my pocket once and - no joke - lit my pants on fire. Orange embers, smoke and a dime-sized hole on my pants. Yep... Won't let that happen again!

If you haven’t tried the fenix ld02 for a micro flashlight you might want to. It’s a little longer doesn’t disappear in your hand, super sturdy pocket clip. I really like the last used setting feature on the light mode also.

Good overview of your EDC, Mike. I bought a Skeletool based on your recommendation, though I don’t EDC it often as I prefer the Squirt PS and a pocket knife combo. Absolutely love my LLD Associate holster, very comfortable, though still need to lose a few lbs for sitting in the car! I enjoy changing knives, watches, lights just for the fun of it.

Delta stretch legit amazing pants LLOD belt, the best belt for sure. I carry the gerber pry tool with my folder. Also, the LLOD Velcro holster is a standard for my pack. Olight baton is the light I use. Like mike said; magnet bottom, and the knurling of the body makes it slip resistant (for the most part).

I've been using the Streamlight Microstream usb for a couple of months now and I like it a lot. The usb version has 2 modes; low mode 50 Lumens and high mode 250 lumens. love the video, very nice gear!

I carry a gerber certer drive. I’m a National Gaurdsman and either while in uniform or on the farm where I work it can be handy. Always moving constantly you never know what’s going to break or where so it’s helpful to have a handful of tools at my disposal. The center drive works great for me it has a longer knife than most multi tools that I like and you can get a bit attachment kit for it that comes with a few Allen head bits, star bits, and square bits. It is probably a bit more bulky and heavy than most people like for an EDC(I carry it in a belt holster along with the bit kit), but it has had just about everything I’ve needed at least to do a temporary fix on whatever it is I’m working on. Might be worth it just to give it a try.

I really like my Yellow Birch Outfitters Pockit Pro. Essentially a coin purse of sorts, but in Mulitcam so it's manly 😂. The outside pockets hold my Leatherman, Light, chapstick, and wallet. Inside I have a lighter, charging cord, and the little foamy ear plugs. Keeps everything I carry, minus keys, phone, and gun/mag, in one easy to grab little unit that's easy to access while in my pocket. I kind of like the light in the mag pocket though, might have to give that a go.

do a quick double tap on the streamlight microstream. it gets brighter. Also, you should look into a zebralight. super bombproof no nonsense lights with much better LED's with higher CRI color accuracy. Since you mentioned checking for mountain lions it helps to see the true color of things instead of the light making everything kind of blend together in a blueish tint..

I carry the Micro Stream USB (absolutely love it!), however they have a newer model out now called the Macro Stream USB it’s dbl the lumens and a slightly larger light… so I’m switching to that as soon as it comes in. But I absolutely LOVE the USB charge and go function. I literally use my EDC light everyday several times a day. I also carry a Kershaw folder that I love, use it all the time, don’t remember the exact model off the top of my head. But it is made of quality steel that REALLY keeps an edge so I’m NOT having to sharpen it several times a week or even weekly all the time (even though I should at least once a week). It’s assisted opening blade is awesome but like I said it really holds an edge which is my biggest issue with knifes.

I wear cargo pants But just recently found pocket organizers. one organizer for my phone and battery pack another organizer for gerber, 2 razor blade holders, one small one big. and some pens. These keep those items upright in my cargo pockets. No more going sideways and making it difficult to bend my knee. I also do pocket holster. the in the waste band digs into me. pocket works better. I carrey sub compact. if I need more than that. things are bad.

So, I love my Skeletool CX but screw the Style XD. Two for two PSs that I've had, the spring for the scissors broke. Security in Australia kept one, even when I showed the guy it doesn't have a knife. He kept citing the file even when I showed him there is no edge on it. I said screw it, it's $20 and I have a plane to catch. I still keep it for a small pair of pliers and I can slice with the scissors that no longer scissor. My Skeletool CX has been going great since 2015. My gimpy Style PS is from 2012 but the scissor springs failed very quickly. Thanks for sharing!

Still rocking the original mini in red, beat it up every day at work and it keeps on ticking. It definitely can get hot, burnt through a pair of carhartt force extremes without noticing one day until it stung me. Gotta remember to keep it locked.

Pro tip on the warrior mini if you half click the tail button and press the side button at the same time it'll change the mode to half press is turbo and full press is strobe repeat first step to go back to half press high full press turbo

I've been carrying a Leatherman Wingman for almost a year now and it's been fantastic. Had no idea that I'd use it as much as I have, and being a Dad, the Pliers and driver bits have been lifesavers on many occasions haha. Only problem is that I like to fit it in the "coin" pocket on my jeans, but it destroys the pockets within weeks of me wearing them due to the friction of the hardware against the denim. Are there any pant out there that has reinforced pockets for multi tools? I keep my spyderco tenacious in my right pocket along with a front pocket wallet, and then the Leatherman in the upper coin pocket. That layout has been great, but the denim material is toast super quick :(

With your olight, press the tail switch all the way in and then press the side button while holding the tail switch down. In this mode, full press is strobe and half press is turbo. Both are momentary so once you let go, it turns off. That's how I carry it without it locked out.

I just bought a brand new Olight Warrior 3 Scarlet Edition. Something important to note is I live in Canada and it is very cold rn. I kept the flashlight in my outer jacket pocket and Idk if I had accidentally turned it on or what but it was completely dead when I went to use it. In fact, it wouldn't even turn on after I charged it! I changer it for maybe an hour and removed the battery multiple times but it wouldn't turn on. It only turned on once I left it for multiple more hours and then removed the battery again. Works fine now and haven't experienced any battery capacity issues. I think the battery must have gone close to flat in the cold. Important to know if u have a flashlight and it has this problem. Just let it charge fully and then remove the battery and it should be fine.

I just realized its 2022. No wonder you have a new one. I did not see any pepper spray though. I just noticed that right now after my husband and i watched this edc video. Really rad and sick knives and everything else. Pepper spray would be a great tool as an alternative to the handgun as a self defense tool aside from the knives. Imo. Overall i love how comprehensive this video was. Whats weird is that I thought there was more to it. And it didnt really felt that long which is awesome. I look forward to more videos. Im actually debating on getting those magpul sunglasses and a really good water bottle. P.S. i bought my husband a leatherman signal and its been working pretty great too! Also, Ive been using the EDC hybrid belt & the holster you made and its soo freakin comfortable and awesome. It almost feels like im not wearing anything at all which is insane. I feel like the only thing im lacking right now are those delta stretch pants.. (really wished they had womens version)

Awesome to hear it! Yeah I'm actually a big fan of pepper spray and have it close at hand in all of my vehicles. I talk about it a fair bit in my vehicle gear videos.

Hey Mike, love the gear review videos. It’s kinda how I found your channel. Keep them coming man. Anyway, the warrior mini is also my all time favorite light. But what comes in very close 2nd is the Fenix LD30. Only because the warrior mini has a magnetic tail cap and a lock option, it beats the Fenix IMHO. Check it out

Man you are ready for anything! Me, I can't stand having anything in my pants pockets; I don't even carry a phone, so a gun is totally out of the question. Wallet, pen, and a combo knife/key holder held in the inside pockets of my blazer. Enough to get me through modern life, and if the SHTF, I'm just gonna stay home.

It blows my mind every time I watch one of these videos. Grew up in NYC so the idea of carrying a gun around is like speaking Klingon to me. I did spend a few years in Colorado as well and I remember just assuming everyone I saw open carrying at a supermarket was a detective. Lol ... Hey Man! Print some 4XL tees and hoodies please!
