Yeah I don't get why he is using one piston per boiler and just one high boilers, couldn't he get like 3x the stress by combining them and filling the faces with pistons to have 2 large steam engines

He can also make a create cobble gen using mechanical pistons to shift a block plate as the breaking mechanism. I have a 6x8 settup that produces about 100 cobble per second

The boilers can be taller for a lot more stress units :) (i cant take it anymore just make them bigger the voices in my head wont leave me alone)

you would need to use blaze burners for more heat so having a kelp farm / small tree farm to supply charcoal to power blaze burners would get alot more units

if you set the speedcontroller to a minus value, you reverse the rotation, reducing the need for gearboxes and thus save on stressunits 👍love the different Create series

You should convert the fake windmill in the village into a Create windmill.

For any future cobblestone/stone generators you may build: if the generator produces Cobblestone: avoid setting the drill to an rpm of 80 or 96. if the generator produces Stone or Andesite: avoid setting the drill to an rpm of 64. These RPMs match the exact speed that the generators create a new block, causing the dropped items to be flung out of the generator unpredictably.

You really need to have a lava farm and a power steam boiler with it. It will give you 16k stress per steam engine instead of 16k per 8 of them.

I messed about with a blaze burner and a 2 by 4 tank and it gave me roughly 16000 stress units as well. You might need to overclock the burner though.

Have you seen the cobble gen that tango showed off in his create series? It’s just insane how good it is! Uses some pumps and a mechanical piston. When the blocks are being pushed it’s a contraption and the water can flow down into the pumps sending lava up and they’ll make cobble. The filler blocks then reach the end of their push and become blocks again breaking every single cobble instantly lol I’ve got a 56 block platform one on my VH skyblock world

10:30 two shafts would also work :) 15:30 you can put the trapdoors against the belts instead of above. 23:10 you can setup filters using JEI

He tried the trapdoor trick in the first few episodes, but they kept breaking the machine automation process for some weird reason, so he's not going to repeat history by putting the trapdoors directly on the belt.

I like seeing many boilers. It's not effective, but it's fun to watch. Perosnally I'm having a blast with the modpack. So fun to have vanilla way to generate lava. Also during Moon exploration I found Moon behaves funny with liquids. Pouring bucket of lava turns it into ice. Pouring tin cell of lava creates lava. Which means you can create drills on the moon. Too bad sky stone stops the drill.

Chosen, please just make taller boilers with multiple campfires underneath and a faster water pump. You can generate way more power with less complexity.

You know you can make the Rotational Speed Controller go into the negatives (I.E. reverse direction),right?

Hey, so I noticed you were adding a gear and a gearbox to power the millstone (the one in the front). It is actually possible to power it with a shaft from the bottom. You could put a vertical gearbox under the millstone instead of the normal one, and it would be powered automatically.

I noticed if drills break stone too fast they insta-respawn more stone throwing the previously broke one in a random direction. I either slow down the drills or make them part of a contraption. There are probably other ways ways but I haven't had to figure that out yet because I keep my cobble and andesite generators as separate contraptions mass producing and transport them where they are needed.

You can stack the boilers (like make a tower of them ) and put more steam engines and powered it by blazes more efficiently and produce more power

This is really fun I hope the next pack he plays is DawnCraft, it’s similar to vault hunters that it focuses on combat but different in a massive way because it’s got a dark souls style combat system and a bunch of custom bosses created specifically for the pack

I'm surprise you aren't using more chain drives here rather than stacked gearboxes, so you simply get the same rotation rather than reversing the reversal of the reversed rotation 😸

Instead of a hopper under the cobble gen, couldnt you put a block, slap or trapdoor on top of the cobble being broken? So the blocks dont go flying

As a noob I am trying to imitate choosens setup but I have a problem. I *think* I have my rolling mill set up exactly the same, but it spits out the unprocessed materials on the other side (I put in a ingot or sheet and I get the ingot/sheet in the output barrel). CHOSEN I discovered something, I'm not sure if its because I have cheats enabled, but if you right click with a compass it will teleport you forward if there is a block in front of you within range. It even teleports you through blocks, Its really confusing why it works, but it does.

Guys, don't do this. This production method is awfully undertuned in the modpack. It's much less effort and much more yield to create a cobbled deepslate generator below Y=0, and send them to crushing wheels.

@@ChosenArchitect I meant to not set up iron automation this way and instead go for deepslate into crushing wheels. However, after progressing more through the pack I myself had to set one up because iron is used way more than other ores. So, ignore that. Love the series! I had always been afraid of Create until your videos. Thanks a lot
