The casting table will give the cast to the hopper instead of the ingot if you power the casting table with redstone. It's a neat feature that I haven't ever seen before, might be a QoL feature added by the port to fabric.

I have been playing a LOT with tinkers, and its a feature thats been there for quite a while. It helps automating the changing of casts. Say you want a buffer of cogs, plates, wire and so forth. You can just set up a round robin of those casts. In a single smelter.

FYI when it comes to taking the fluids out of the mixer, you can just right click the bucket on the basin to pull out the brass if there isn't a full bucket of anything else in there. That way you don't waste any copper or zinc in the process. (btw i'm writing this about 10 minutes in I just knew I'd forget to say if I carried on watching)

BTW Chosen, if the modpack doesn't disable it you can use a cart assembler to grab spawners to bring back to your base. It's very well possible that they disabled it, and if so trying to activate the assembler with the spawner will say that a Mystical force is holding it to the world.

Hey Chosen, you can either put another basin or a drain diagonally down from the basin with the brass, and it will automatically output only the brass product so you don't have to use any filters/pipes. You can then use a faucet on the second basin/drain with no issues. :)

It would have been a decent idea to grab the furnaces as they do require 3 pieces of ore to make a single furnace. Would be hard if you set up automatic processing of ore and realize you need furnaces for something.

Yeah, these bugs on Create and Tinker's are due to this being a Fabric port. If I recall, the Hephestus port dropped the mod development.

Love the videos Chosen! Just a small tip when placing deployers, you can rotate them all 90 degrees either way, so you only have to power one deployer and the rest will chain from the one powered. Less cogs needed. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

I love this mod pack so far, but I wish you had to use some kind of create-inspired rocket to get to the moon instead of a portal. It just feels like a generic dimension instead of space. I see what appears to be a rocket icon in the quest line, so I’m assuming you have to make a rocket eventually. I just hope it feels like create, where it requires you to think about how to build multi block structures that have lots of room for creative solutions instead of just a tree of crafting recipes with items that have no use other than crafting the rocket. If it is just a generic crafting tree I might have to get back into modding to make what I want lol.

I don't know if the modpack disable this but inserting a shaft into any running belts would get it rotated and from there you could just extend the shaft Also the crude storage unit only holds one item so technically, you can use it as a filter for the precision mechanisms (use regular funnels to avoid the belt glitch)

I don't think it's a bug that having a redstone signal pulls the cast out, I think it's so you can automate cast production if needed

one simple change for the weighted ejector is you can put a chute above the conveyer belt up agenist the deployers and have the eject aim at the chute. would compact the system down and would raise the ark of the ejector to not hit things. also i laughed at the chain drive from the steam engine to power the cogs to control the deployers..... when you could have put a shaft into the belt next to the cogs lolol. keep it up always fun to watch the different ways people play create!!!

I think you should make a cobble factory so you can crush the cobble to gravel and then turn the gravel into sand or iron

Oh yeah if you power the basin (through the block the lever is on) it'll take the cast after casting one. It's super weird and very annoying

With magma cubes the chances to get magma cream is inverted it’s not like the normal slimes. So you will get more often cream from bigger cubes.

I had a similar bug with filters in a different modpack and it was shaders and the mod that adds animal mobs having a conflict. There is a hotkey that turns the shader off. I just used that briefly then turned it back on.

In this case it’s not the shader, it’s the fact that create doesn’t handle animated textures, and the Hephaestus buckets are animated textures

I just learned you can't do a nugget cast for copper so thats annoying cause it has to goto waste if you only have nuggets left in a smelter

Yep you can only install any mod pack with curseforge launcher (fabric or forge). You can install fabric mods with the fabric launcher though

I'm using Modrinth and ATLLauncher - ATL has more support for different sources, but can output a pack in Modrinth's format, so I can grab the astral create pack from ATL and import it into Modrinth, keeping everything in Modrinth (it's a far nicer experience thus far, imo).
