Very helpful. Thank you very much but one thing I didn’t hear you say is how to go to the very beginning of the timeline. There doesn’t seem to be any option for this in the navigation bar.

Is there a way to have stacked timelines but the same one twice - Id love to have a zoomed out version of the current timeline I am working on?

Hey Brendan! You can only do pancake edits with different timelines, unfortunately. At least I don’t know a way on how to do that - but with the quick shortcut shown in this video you can quickly jump to the full view and then immediately back to zoomed in with the same shortcut!:)

Die Tipps kannte ich schon alle, könntest du vlt n Video dazu machen ob es möglich ist ein Adjustment Clip nur auf einen Clip in der Time line anzuwenden. Beispiel ein png und ein Hintergrund ich möchte nur auf dem PNG den Effekt vom Adjustemt Clip anwenden, ist so was möglich 😄👌🏻

Hey! Das sollte ‚relativ‘ einfach machbar sein, aber nur über einen kleinen Umweg - den adjustment clip oder das PNG ziehen, Effekt drauf, aber jetzt betrifft das ja alle darunter liegenden Layer ebenfalls. PNG und Adjustment clip Markieren und in einen Compound Clip umwandeln - wenn du das häufig benutzt, lohnt es sich vielleicht da auch einen eigenen Shortcut anzulegen (ist bei mir einfach nur die Taste ‚C‘) Hoffe dir hilft das weiter!:)

You can increase the playback speed by pressing the L key. If you press it once, it just plays at 1x. Press it twice, it plays double, press it 3 times it plays 4x. Same goes with the J key, it just plays backwards!:)

does anyone know if there's a shortcut to select the timecode in the source window? right now I have to click it then enter the timecode to enter my ins and outs, would be nice to have a shortcut, save 2secs every time would be a massive time saver.

yep, in da vinci its called blade mode. just reassign its keybind and you are done. i use C , because i came from premiere pro

@@nicoabarcaargandona aah, sure! First you assign these extra buttons on your mouse to a specific key using the basic Logitech mouse software - now go into resolve and assign those previously to the mouse assigned keys to any function that you like!:)
