2 videos I’d love to see are: 1. A color video- the connection between you colors of the makeup and the color you wear that day 2. A sensitive video- products and brand for sensitive eyes and skin. Because natural ingredients are not necessary for sensitive faces... Thank you!
Specially because Lisa has sensitive eyes.. like a lot of us ...maybe its a good idea to talk about the chemical products in cosmetics that make our eyes react.
Watching Lisa apply make up always feels like the warmest hug.. Or like a beautiful cup of cinamon tea with a hint of vanilla. This doesn't make any sense at all.. It just feels good 💜 so so good
When you said to “tap tap tap” the eyeliner in, it reminded me so much of old Bob Ross painting videos, and I realized that your videos have a similar combination of super calm, kind energy and incredible technical skill.
Would love to see a makeup tutorial without foundation, concentrating on making your skin look great (since we all have to wear masks and my foundation always comes off) & just concealer and eye makeup.
@@chankrstic533 Interesting tip, thanks for sharing. Does the hairspray wash out? I use silk face masks as they're more sustainable and happy to use setting spray as long as it'll wash off...
Oh dearest Lisa, please do an under eye brightening routine! I generally feel spoiled that you and I have almost exactly the same skin tone and undertone as well as skin type so your tutorials are very relevant, the only thing is that your under eyes are bright and mine look like I was punched in both eyes, died, became a vampire, and now roam the land looking for purpose... you get the picture.
Ole henriksen has a great banana bright eye cream, and so does dr karyng . Walmart has a banana eye cream too I think; the yellow of "banana" ones helps cancel out the purple! Also ha to roaming the land for purpose 😂
I was sat on the sofa stuffing my face with fudge, it’s pouring down with rain, and I was so feeling sorry for myself..then up pops Lisa.... yay...a bit of magic just happened 🥰
This was just what I needed, thank you Lisa. I’m sorry to hear about your studio and I hope it goes well getting it back together. Stay well and stay safe😊
I'd love an update on makeup for older women (something fresh and uplifting like this) that incorporates the realities of non-surgically enhanced skin! ;-)
Lovely makeup look Lisa! May you please make a video about "One and Done Eyeshadows"? I'm curious to know which single eyeshadows you think are great stand alone shades!
Could you do a video that shows what kind of products can be used on hooded eyes? Bc my eyeshadow always crease overtime (even when I use an eye primer) and my eyeliner would transfer onto the lid (even when it said its smudge-proof and water-proof)
i have hooded oily eyes and can recommend the nars pro prime eyeshadow primer! it’s clear and doesn’t feel heavy or tacky on your lids. it holds shadows and eyeliner in place really well
oh gosh Lisa every time you post a new video you look more and more radiant, luminous, glowing and dare I say younger! and it's been over 7 years that I follow you xx
Sending lots of love and positivity to everyone watching all around the world, especially those who live alone and are in another lockdown. We'll make it, keep grounded and do what makes you feel great! YOU DESERVE IT!
Can I just say how lovely it is to listen to you. Nothing but genuine advice and professional tips. No profanities, no gossiping, you are a breath of fresh air, thank you
Lisa Eldridge could be the biggest example of someone who achieved great success through sincerity and hard-work without bad publicity and controversies. She's an inspiration ❤️!
I had always imagined Lisa living in an arty apartment in Paris, with vintage framed art and thick green curtains. I can’t imagine Lisa stuck in locked down London!
Here in Germany everyones mood goes into the direction of depression as well. Make up can definitely help us to feel better and to give us a positive and optimistic boost to our immune system. Thanks for that video.
I need a winter make up look...that keeps it on the skin in cold weather! (Even for sensitive skin) 😁 Greetings from a big fan (during the years) in winterland of -17 degrees🌨 (Norway) - I hope things will change for the better this year🙏 Stay safe!❤❤
Awe, you’ve got it rougher! Be well, think well, do well. Then go home and eat fudge. ( I got the fudge part from another commenter. May God provide strength and endurance for you durning these times. Appreciate the little things like you do, (Lisa’s talks) is eminently wise.its the little things that we cling to.
Lovely Lisa, you'll need to start listing your outfits under videos too)) That's just one adorable shade of pink you're wearing, where's this sweater from?
You are such a great company for those of us who feel lonely or stressed during these chaotic years.Personally I receive optimism, kindness and love from you!!Thank you..❤
It is so great to see how passionate you still are about the big impact of the small gestures in your craft, even after being in the business for many years and looking at makeup from the business perspective! 💕
Your lipsticks have gotten me through these lockdowns! Been loving wearing them and matching or contrasting with colorful tops. Would love to see how you pair different lip/blush colors with colorful clothes to “dress happy” during these monotonous times xxx Thank you Lisa!
This lockdown has by far been the worst on my skin for acne and many of my friends who normally have flawless skin are starting to get it too! I would love if you could do an updated version of your acne make up routine or recommend good products to combat 'maskne'
So beautiful!! I agree. There’s a certain lift in mood when you look good. Always thought that was shallow when I was younger, but it’s not. It’s just taking care of yourself so you feel like doing the best, especially for others. Thank you! ❤️💋
Sending love and sunshine from Australia. Here in Melbourne we had 110 days of extremely strict lockdown over winter, for the first few weeks as cases kept climbing it was just awful. I know that there seems no end in sight feeling 🥺 It was still awful as winter dragged on, we couldn't go anywhere and it seemed to take forever to get under control. It was worth it in the end as we're now enjoying summer as normal but it was so hard over winter! 💜
This was a lovely, fresh in-made up makeup look. Can you do a similar demo for people undergoing chemotherapy? My sister-in-law is at that stage of not only losing her hair, but also losing her brows and lashes. She's never been much of a makeup wearer, but needs some definition now. Love your channel.
I'm a full time student working on my MA to teach college level courses, a mother of a toddler and 30 weeks with out second. And exhausted. I wish I could even do this! The closest I get is watching someone do it before I go to sleep or finish an assignment. Lol😫😊😅😁
Oh that sounds so pretty! What brand do you like? I have normal, pale, mature skin. The way you said it I wanted to eat it. Ha ha ha, think it’s close to dinner time.
@@Donna-cc1kt I have very pale skin too! Right now I’m using the physicians formula murumuru blush (which feels more like a bronzer to me) in Vintage Rouge and for more ‘blush’ blush the MUA makeup academy liquid blush in Peach Puff, but sparingly.. my skin shows up everything like a blank canvas would 😂
So excited! I was so looking forward to seeing your next video, and I really need a pick-me-up look 💗 love you Lisa, sorry to hear about the flooding- hope everything works out finally and that you and your family are happy and healthy!
Greetings from Montréal chère Lisa :) I love how your beautiful understated pink lip matched with your lovely jumper ;) Could you do a tutorial on the amount and type of makeup to wear when using a cloth mask. Have found that, my lipsticks especially, just sit unused, for many months now. Merci et à bientôt🤗
Hi Lisa could you do a look for tired new mums who are tired of looking tired? 😂 something quick (of course) but with a big impact and that would make me (and other new mums) feel a little more like our old selves?
Lisa your lipsticks are absolutely my fav blushes 😃💄❤️ months ago I dreamt you made pots for cheeks and lips 💕😄 You look absolutely gorgeous as usual, makeup helps but you glow from within 💫
This is beautiful! 😍 Could you please do a tutorial on Eva Green's makeup at the Cesars 2020 ceremony? She looked so lovely I have been dreaming of recreating her look !
The transformative power of makeup, thank you for showing us how! So the wishlist...would love tutorials on some of your fav picks from magazine cover looks...plus a Ted Talk too :-)
Hi Lisa, thank you for this soothing video. Couldn’t help being distracted by your beautiful jewellery. Did you purposely leave out the charm in the other earring? ❤️Lots of love from NZ.
Sorry about the flood. But so glad to see you back. When around the house, I usually wear one of your luscious velvet lipsticks to help me feel glamorous. Will take your suggestion regarding adding mascara.
Loved the tutorial!! Thank you so much Lisa!! Indeed it was helpful! You always make me feel better with your videos!! I was wondering if you can do a video with some of your consistently used i.e. tried and true makeup products. Thanking you in advance!!
You don't have the slightest hint of dark circles and puffy under eyes. I have asian complexion and my face has at least 6 shades of color under eyes, tee zone, cheeks , forehead etc No concealer seems to suit my horrible dark circles and I end up gray in that area Please help by suggesting useful natural looking make up that can address this issue.
With respect, I think the days where we support and use products with 6 shades only are gone. It makes it difficult for white people to get a match, it’s impossible for anybody who isn’t white to get a match.
Hi Lisa, Thinking of you all in the UK. My heart goes out to you. It's so hard in the moment. You are such an encouragement to people. I'm reassured by my beautiful grandmother who is 99 and lived through the war that this too shall pass. Stay in hope dear heart.
Lovely video, and I would really love to have you show us how to camouflage things like puffy under eye problems , huge issue for me and I don't want to have fillers. Maybe a video on issues like this for us older fans.
Moved to the U.K. a couple months ago and was just out of quarantine when the lockdown hit. I’ve felt so down the last few weeks, but getting a notification for one of your videos has made my day. Thank you ❤️
Hi Lisa, thank you again for this gorgeous video! I would love to see you presenting your favourite drugstores products for light budget ! Bons baisers de Paris :)
I needed this! 💋 Thank you so much!!I’m a hairdresser here in Belgium and we are closed sins 1 November 😔 Miss my work and clients ......everything actually. So ya.......thx for the tutorial it lifted me up 💋💋💋😍
Could you do a video on how your make up has to change when you have been dark haired and then you go grey? Sorry one for girls with hazel eyes and cool skin / grey hair? Thanks , cruelty free brands too if possible. Sorry about your flood. Must have been horrible x
Hi Lisa, I noticed your skin looks gorgeous and youthful, especially around the cheeks, I wondered what skincare products you are using? I'd like to invest in some good ones that work that I can incorporate in my skin regine xx
Lisa, have you tried the mineral fusion blush sticks? They're amazingly blendable for natural rosiness, and the rosette shade is actually the perfect dupe for nars orgasm! Except cheaper and vegan and cruelty free! :)
What’s your trick with concealer and foundation for anyone that has fine lines under the eyes and does not want them accentuated please also can you use bronzer for eyeshadow?Have you tried fenty powder foundation?x
Have you tried not using any concealer etc under the eyes? I use the tiniest bit of IT cosmetics liquid concealer just at the corners, it’s really highly pigmented and stays on but it’s quite watery. Under my eyes I just use hyalauranic acid and maybe vit c serum. But I can’t use any makeup under my eyes - I look like a Shar Pei if I do!
@@navatallauner401 good point. Hot and Flashy (RU-vidr) swears by Lancôme Maquicomplet... but I would also say to try the IT liquid concealer since it’s so thin, if you don’t put powder over it it shouldn’t make wrinkles worse, especially with something like aloe or hylauranic serum underneath
@@ThankYouJesusTheChrist I actually found that lighter concealers crease more during the time it takes them to dry. I used several light ones. Now I have moved to hourglass which is like a lipstick but doesn’t crease at all. Not concealing so good either, though, but I’m just a bad case.
This is one of the few videos I have saved. It’s one to keep for posterity, it’s exactly the kind of thing needed for the hectic life a lot of working women with other personal responsibilities lead. Practical tutorial, professional for work life, and most importantly, uplifting and good for any woman’s self esteem. As always, your contribution to your fellow women is outstanding, Lisa. There is a special place in heaven for women who uplift other women and you do precisely that! ✨💕🙏🏼
Many thanks, Lisa, a true pick-me-up. I thought I am amongst the few disheartened out there. It’s not really good to hear it’s a common occurrence, but still, it’s nice having company. I would love to have a tutorial from you about how to try to soften the ageing lines on the face using makeup. Marionette lines, frown lines, the ugly ones. But I guess for this you’re going to need a model 😊 Stay healthy and cheerful and please come back with more 🤗
I love how you always use some brand I don't know. I'm trying indie brands now as I find that major mainstream beauty brands are always repeating themselves. No wow factor in anything anymore. That pink sweater is a pick-me -up itself! Love it!
You look lovely and glowy in pink Lisa - this is just what we needed, thanks! PS - All that's missing is a cameo from one of your kitties :D *hint hint*
I just love your tutorials. Yes, makeup really does have a transforming effect. Really lightens my mood. Love the fresh/pinky rosey glow. So sorry about your flood. :(. Looking forward to your next video 👏👏👏❤❤❤🥰🥰
The tinted serum.that you used looks lovely. I would love to try it. Hopefully when we can travel again I will be able to pick one in France. Great video as always. Your voice is so relaxing 😍
Lisa, the pink sweater really compliments your coloring 💛💛💛 I’m sorry to hear about the flood but I’m sure the House of Eldridge will be stronger than before!!
