That's what you get when you have limited strat available in your own hand, the last few series in their groupstage they've been figured out. Tried to play the same strategy against TA but didn't work, now I know why panelist are not expecting them to go well in the playoffs.
Not counting last year, they were always able to be in top 3 in majority of TI's. Give respects where they should be given. It wont change a fact that building whole rooster around 1 famous player, player that can't perform well during big events.. it's just ridicolous. EG needs to let RTZ or Bulba go, or maybe both of them, and stop making building team around 1 talent.
@@abdulaziz-gl5mc they were 3rd at TI8, but that was when they still had reliable core -> SumaiL. They were usually placing in top 5 teams at TI, after RTZ joined and SumaiL left, they can't even be top 5 during majors and minor events.

I'm surprised people actually believed EG would have good shot at winning TI, we all have been here many times, EG always performs well until when it matters the most. They need to fire lulba, his draft has been horrendous for the past few years, and rtz is the most overrated carry of all time, dude always farms well but he relies heavily on his teammates to spoon feed him, he hasn't developed at all all these years.
Feels like EG had absolutely nothing planned for SA teams this year, they might have underestimated the region as a whole. Drafting in particular felt bad, felt like they were playing a different lineup/strategy during group stage even with some similar characters
What you say is impossible. SA and NA play on the same server. Every day they play with each other. They know each other too well, they do too many scrim together. I don't think they don't have anything prepared against the players they know best
@@gonzalovasquezblas3819 they gave both Thunder and Beastcoast a lot of comfort heros and did not respect any of them by banning (Morph, Tiny, Snapfire)Snapfish. Eg is not a bad team but their drafting underperformed.
I don't think so, their drafts are similar to group stage... brood pick, razor pick, ember... etc they just have nothing left after their draft was countered hard by BOOM maybe you guys think that they play "for fun" that time but imo, they actually played very bad and it went downhill after that
They had one strat with SF/primal who gave them first in their group. Then lost every single game after. Rest is fans searching excuses to avoid facing reality

Midlaner, claimed to be the best in the world mechanically, dont even want to find heroes without cr1t, and rely on BKB instead of dodging spells with high mechanic hero. Best mid indeed, BKB, fist, then run away, smallest balled and most predictable midlaner ive ever seen👍

@@koftli8997 OD and templar mid still good last year, this year and on last TI they gave him soace making role, which he sucks at, making offlane loss also means midlane loss, because cr1t wouldnt be able to make plays around midlane timing. There is a reason this is literally abed's best achievement, he only excels at carry type midlane.
EG fans are notorious for being extremely toxic and blind. They will just blame the coach, nighfall and then the "curse" to avoid facing reality, this roster isnt close to be good enough to even dream of getting final
After Group Stage i had only good things to say but against TA and now BC EG let them have easy to execute drafts. Combine it with the pressure they give themselves and how TA and BC just don't give a fuck when they play they had it coming to them.
yeah just draft the same stuff from group stage, its not like other teams know they are lazy and will figure out how to beat it. Hurr durrrrre we pick fly sven, arteezy sf/tb/ls, nightfall brood and abed puck/ember/storm. I can‘t believe they pay stuff which is supposed to help them plan games and strategies, because it doesnt look like they do anything
They are just a bad team full of players who cant perform in important games. They always fluke wins in group coming with one broken strat then other teams adapts and EG are looking like a tier 2 SEA team
Idk what it is about RTZ but he lacks the X factor, he seems like a text book carry but with no 0 factor, I have never felt him have a synergy with any team or team mate, like Miracle does the GH or many more.
he is a pubstar carry,but pro scene,specially TI are not pub,u can expect him farming till fat then automatically other team lose,no,he still need to carry his team.
i mean , i dont know why they all look so despair even before game started. while opponents always looking sharp and fearless. mentality is so important

If there's a year to win it boys, it has to be this one for sure!
EG needs a stud, they just filled with boomer whos been through alot of war meaning they're overthinking and over complicated stuff. So yeah 1 or 2 young player with balls probably would make a difference. Because they will just go in make opening and chances without over calculating things.
@@sejj1819 by far it was RTZ who couldn't perform well. Abed is not know of playing sacrificial role, and he is forced to play as such for RTZ. Problem is.. RTZ is not SumaiL, and while Fear could play more of a sacrificial carry for his midlaner - it worked, cuz SumaiL was good enough to use well space given to him, while RTZ simple CAN'T perform well even though Nightfall, Abed, Fly and Cr1t were shitting their pants to do create as much space as possible. Moment SumaiL left EG, they are not able to get to top 3 during big events.
@@coyzor basing all of their games during group stage and main event, it's funny to realise that majority of their succes was securing RTZ's farm and repairing all his failures by Nigthfall, but when the lost it was due to RTZ making throwplays. Do I have to bring here his TB 1v4 moment without bkb? Deal with the facts lmao. EG didn't perform well moment RTZ joined them and Sumail left.
From what I watched, Abed and Nightfall carried EG in the group stage. That didn't happen in the main stage. SA teams just have banned their best heroes, like primal beast and broodmother

Snapfire tiny owns brood specially playing from behind so, thats a draft problem and also EG best player is nightfall they need to enable him otherwise is gg similae story to bc wisper if wisper had a bad game they lose

its his own fault for ever wishing to get back to EG instead of giving it a try on some other team. Look at the amount of years RTZ wasted without winning anything because of sticking with EG.

@@dariomladenovski6481 i know that mate. Even tho i like RTZ i never regarded him as one of the best. Infact I really dont like his playstyle as he is quite farm focused and dependant and usually does not contribute to the team effort early and mid game unlike some other carries.

Now I know why panelist and even kuku himself, doesn't think EG will go far in playoffs despite being top 1 in groups, they only have 1 strat and they exhausted it all in groupstage and run out of gas in playoffs.
