It goes to show how terrifying he can be when focused. We saw a glimpse of that in....Sonic Forces until it dropped the ball

Probably the best moment so far. Yes, Sonic always beats him, but not because he's dumb, and this fight is here to remind us: Eggman IS a genius, only a bit too eager to defeat Sonic to the point he rush things

It's been shown quite a few times in the comic; Eggman wins. Sonic rushes at Eggman; Eggman just grabs Sonic mid-punch and throws him aside; using his own momentum against him. sonic jumps on Eggmobile in front of Eggman, Eggman sends him flying with one punch. And remember; Eggman is capable of matching Sonic's speed at short distance [See: sonic 2] Eggman just dosen't want to win physically. He wants to win with his inventions and mind. [Also just because he can trade hands with Sonic 1v1 dosen't mean he can trade hands with Sonic + everyone else.]

I think what a lot of people dont really get is that eggman doesn't _really_ want to win in the end. What exactly does he get out of winning? A giant amusement park? Seems to me that what hes really doing is intentionally leaving flaws in his plans, allowing them to be dismantled last minute. It may be subconscious, not sure, but that style of dramatic, over the top showmanship villainy is very akin to megamind IMO

I hated when Eggman smashed Starline on the ground like a brute Gorila, IDW turnet Eggman into a Savage Animal Killer Monster when in the games even DK can beat him in a Boxing fight. I REALLY HATE THE ANIMAL ABUSE

Eggman always was evil with the animal people inside the ufficial games, doing far worst than punching them. Animal abuse it's really bad, however, that's the whole point of Eggman: he's evil, without any remorse.

Yeah but just watching a human punching and hurting animals brokes my heart. In my opinion is like watching Ridley killing Kirby and Samus's parents. I just hate Eggman and the worst part is that now in Frontiers Sonic Team tried to turn Eggman into a wrong writed KING DEDEDE (XD)
