My eggplants are black beauty. I've noticed not all flowers have pistols and apparently the ones without are the male flower needed to pollinate the female pistol, so i pick the flower without a pistol, remove the petals, and use the yellow center like a small brush on all the flowers with pistols. Works perfect.
Mine won't either. I had two eggplants but they got to a point where they refused to grow. Both are extremely small and there are no other flowers. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
