"Ego LV1 on 11?!" Grips kit installation and shooting vid!

Hey guys, this is a tutorial on how to put LV1 grips onto an Ego 11. It really makes the Ego 11 feel comfortable and really, it's as close as I could get to an LV1 XD
I also included a shooting vid with this video... Not really nessasary but it felt really good while I was shooting it. The grips make the marker feel secure in your hands. It will really help if you're diving into snake and worried about the marker slipping and flying out of your hands.

When I put on my grips the was a little gap between the two , I don't want dirt and stuff to get on my board or anything ?!

Matt Willison yes there is a small gap, but that didn't cause me any problems so far. After every game, just take off the grips and wash it, wipe the frame from dirt and sand and thats it. If you want to be safer I guess you could use like layers of cloth to thicken the frame (y) Hope it works out well for you! - HellCat916

So you said it would work on an Etek 4....but there is no way...etek 4 handle grips have 2 top screws...and the LV1 grips only have 1 top screw? Or am i missing something? Because I really want to do this with my Etek 4!

Well you can drill an extra hole for the screw to fit in. My friend here uses only one screw each side and it's doing well for him so far. It's completely up to you however you want to mod your grips, just as long as you don't lose the purpose of the grips, that is to protect your board and have grip on the marker. - HellCat916

it would be cool if you did one where you installed them on the Etek 4. I'm a visual person so it helps to see step by step :p but i understand that those grips are not cheap by any means! haha well done video btw

For the Etek you should use the LV1 grips - HellCat916

Ty for the vid. been tryin 2 figure out a way to do this. On a side note, ur ego11 seems very quiet. what settings are you running on it?

Haha no problem bro. Yea it does, doesn't it? I didn't change any of the settings though, never touched anything else but setting the trigger smoothness. I used stock settings all the way. Maybe because of the weather? I live in Malaysia, its pretty hot here (40 Celsius/104 Fahrenheit). Or it may be the boomstick barrel? I'm using the 17 inch barrel. And I don't want you to mess up your settings. I suggest you find an experienced tuner to help you. All I can do is wish you luck, haha. :D - HellCat916

Is there a way to replace the grips where the screen is on the ego 11 with the lv1 grip replacement that comes with the grips? My screen panel buttons are getting worn and am wondering if I can replace them with the lv1 button grips

Should be. All the PE regulators are the same, it just depends on how much you need to cut off on the back part for the spacing. Post a response if you do it! - HellCat916

Haha I would, but I'm currently budget balling now. I gotta save up for college next year. Probably by then I'll do a lot more tutorials. I can play every weekend because I am sponsored. But we have a limited amount of paint. So that's why I shoot a hell lot less now. Thanks for the feedback though! - HellCat916

It should work, but I recommend getting the Geo 3.1 grips for the Etha instead of the LV1 grips. You just need to shave a bit more off the end of the reg grip. Post a vid response if you do it! Good luck! - HellCat916

Etek 3 might not work but Etek 4 will. Just shave a bit more off the back reg grip. For etek, get the LV1 grips :) -HellCat916

Yea, I had to. The Evil paint here dimples up really fast because of the heat, and somehow the eyes don't pick up the pellet in there so I shoot with eyes off :)
