A small taste of what to come before BYHAE is released. The game will have in total 33 songs (1 theme song, score screen song, end of level song and a song for each map = 30 songs). This one is dedicated to Das_M (creator of BYHAE)
I love how the track goes from calm to heavy to creepy also back and forth between these moods and combination of them. Structure seems simple at first, yet it ain't when you listen to whole thing.
Ah... Is it wrong that, even after watching the new DOOM 4 trailer, i'm still hyped for BYHAE more so? (It's probably because MY FAVORITE SOLO ARTIST IS PRODUCING THE TRACKS FOR BYHAE >:D). Amazing work as always, Tom. This really sounds like something that SHOULD be in an official DooM game. 10 outta 10, mate! Cant wait to hear it in game, just as well with all of your other BYHAE tracks :]
Das M What happened to your facebook page? I liked it a long time ago, but I can't find it anymore. I even click on direct links to it and it says "Sorry, this content isn't available right now". It's been doing this to me for a while now, but I for some reason took this long to ask you about it.
Nice work! Reminded to me "Waiting for Romero" + "Fight The Logic If You Can" from Map20 of Alien Vendetta (link - /0wAR7ubPpG4) + something else I can't remember.
Hi there. This piece of art made me imagine a little scene - a young boy, not older than ten, coming to an old lady proposing an oracle to him, reading his future in cards. All starts funny but she soon realizes EVERY card he picks predicts only one thing - brutal doom for the boy. She then takes his hands and has maddening visions of nightmarish chaos and madness, failure, loss, tears, blood, losing EVERYTHING among the howls of roaring demons - but ultimately, the boy is fated too to bring forth an EPIC victory. She then realizes that much suffering is REQUIRED to bring so much raw POWER in a soul, and that the boy is fated - fated to motherfuckin' KILL demons until the very end of his nightmarish life, but that he would die contempt. We then zoom out from the eyes of the old lady, open and full of bright light, we see the boy trying to move her as we realize she died of an heart attack while having the visions.
