This is truly awesome. Egypt has been on my list for years, somehow life keeps getting in the way as well as my inability to make the plan and go on the adventure of a lifetime. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 trust us this trip was 2.5 years in the making because of the pandemic. But in the end it was all worth it ✨ it’s one of those trips that you just make at least once in your lifetime because it’s so rich in history. We want to go back and explore all the locations we couldn’t visit because we were short on time. But if you decide to go we can always help you plan :)

Thank you for sharing. Love your enthusiasm! Really helpful as we are in the planning stages. Not sure I want to do the balloon ride! Did they restrict use of a camera anywhere? Thanks!

Thank you ☺️ you need to do the balloon!! It’s amazing and one of a kind experience. No they didn’t but because we had regular phone cameras. It’s a bigger issue with fancy cameras and filming equipment. They usually get confiscated before entering Egypt

Thank you ☺️ if the customer service would have been good then that would have made up for them not giving us what we paid for but even that was bad 🥲 the resort in Hurghada is the Arabella Azur Resort and I would stay there again! Very beautiful

Thank you ☺️ yes for Hurghada we stayed in Arabella Azur Resort and in Cairo we stayed at Le Meridien at the Cairo Airport. For Giza do not stay at the Marvel Stone Hotel. My recommendation is invest in your stay in Egypt. I wish someone would’ve told us that. This is the country where you really need to invest in where you stay to have a pleasant time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there’s nice budget friendly hotels (we just got unlucky with ours) but if I were to go back, I would pay extra money for a nice hotel in every location.

Hey, the days that you guys spend in Luxor and Cairo where you always with a tour guide or was it just sometimes? Would you guys recommend going without a tour guide?

Hi, yes we highly recommend a tour guide because they are fully knowledgeable on the history. The tour guides we had were Egyptologists and went to college for it. You can go on your own but you’ll be bugged by the locals. With a tour guide they leave you alone.

No 😭😭 and we paid $60 usd for it. Yes this is at Marvel Stone Hotel. I don’t recommend it 😣not even to my worst enemy.

I’m sure the chain hotels have a better experience. We just booked late and everything was taken so we pretty much had limited hotels to choose from. But from what I saw, the hotel in Hurghada was going to have a massive NYE party. They had a whole canopy and decor ready & they were testing the Dj set. The hotel was full of families too

It was so scary! We were hoping that balloon wouldn’t fly away when they were trying to hold it down. Good thing it didn’t! But we would definitely do it again ✨🙌🏻

The view is just so breathtaking! So much history is seen from above so that just makes it worth it 😭 but obviously I would cry going up again lol
