I tried the new Spanish luxury train Talgo from Alexandria to Cairo and back. Very clean, air conditioned, on time, buffet and service of food, drinks and cakes. Large and comfortable seating, just like a first class airplane. Amazing train.

But why they chose the slow one while Chinese and spanish offered all of these with higher speed that reaches 350 km/h why we went for 250km/h while all the world went for the highers even semiens now is removing the 250km/h trains replacing it with ICE new generation that reaches 320km/h

A lot of reasons. Maybe the infrastructure, maintenance cost, take much time. I don't know the details. You can search for that. But there were a lot of procedures done in this contract, many feasibility study as well
There is no shame in borrowing for a better life's work. For your information, no investor will come to Egypt without real infrastructure. Because the road and train network. It is the basis for the development of any country. The profits from these projects will be paid back. This is amazing. Loans within a very few years
Egypt government is building this non sense costly train when it can't even feed 60% of its population. Egypt militarily government can't even provide affordable medical care for most people. This is a shame.

In spite of the temporary economic crisis, people can feel that soon things are going to change for the better. Egypt is a large country with a population of 110 million and another 9 million guests from Syria Lebanon Libya Iraq Sudan and the rest of Africa. These people live in Egyptian cities with the Egyptian people, work, have businesses and get the same benefits of Egyptians. They do not live under tents.
