The same distance between Cairo and Mallawi by the Russian train was fantastic ❤️I tried the Russian train last year after launching out on October 2020.. The toilets were clean and modern.. above each toilet two lamps, Green and Red.. Green means empty and Red means busy. Clean windows, Hooks to hold your private stuffs...but the only problem was the uncomfortable seats, plus, the design of seats like face to face meeting 😁... Anyhow ... perfect Video as usual 🤠

We live in a desert. Its the way it needs to be the weather is hot. The buildings are mud, clay and stone, it keeps it cool.

I took the train from Cairo to Minya last week 😄. However strangely when buying the tickets ONLINE, choices are very limited. The schedule shows many trains, but actually booking them... choices are limited. (Example from Sohag to Luxor there are many trains on the schedule, but you can only book 2 trains : 8am or 8pm. Or you can look at the train number on the schedule and buy a cairo-luxor ticket, those are plenty. )

great video, thank you! do you think its safe and easy to travel through Egypt with a carry on luggage (so not a backpack)? I will travel to multiple cities by train, taxi or plane. First from Cairo to Aswan (probably by plane), then ill stay in Aswan in a hostel or cheap hotel. Then i will travel up to Luxor (taxi or train) and stay there for a bit, and then back up to Cairo (taxi or train). After that I will be in Dahab a month (plane or train)
