If I will be getting the equivalent in Egyptian currency, will I be able to change it back to dollars when I am leaving Egypt? And at what rate? You can use 1k dollars as an example for the question I asked - I mean, for instance, if I want to withdraw 1k dollars. Thank you

Hi there , I’m coming from New Zealand to Egypt cairo , and my heads been spinning past few days, because I’m solo travelling , and anything can go wrong with no knowledge. I’ just wanted to ask. I’m only bringing my Visa debit card , and I’ll be on a tour for 7 days on the Nile river. And the tour people from Egypt getaway tours have quoted me 6953 EGP for hotel entrances fees for sites tour etc. and in NZD that’s $363 NZD , Which ATM at the cairo airport would be best for me with no dcc scam? Or better for visa in general. If not airport where? ☹️

The price of the dollar in the bank is not equal to the real price of the dollar against the pound. Its real price is much higher now. Whoever wants to get it at the real price, I can help him with that.
Whenever they ask me what currency I want to pay in, I ask them what country are we in? They get the message. Unless they offer an incentive to pay in GBP/USD/Euro always use local currency.
