If you saw press start 1 new back ground. If you saw someone hack into subzero or you did you would see new background 2. This is background 3. New ground 1 is shown here. Rob top said there’s gonna be 3 new backgrounds and 2 new grounds. We have seen all of them except the second new ground...

Fun fact: This (the platformer mode) is actually inspired by Final Dash (which is a remake of gd also it is playable in play store and steam) made by Boot-Dark Games. The developer of the game made a mode named adventure mode and someone tweeted about it. After that, RobTop saw the tweet and responded with, Bah, i can do it too. After that he made platformer mode and now a lot of legendary levels exist.
Hey can everyone chill, obviously this is an optional mode, just like two player mode grants you 2 input controls, this now will grant you 3 input controls, nothing to get mad about
I know a lot of people are gonna not like how you can stop and go, but I think people will continue to make traditional non stop moving geometry dash levels and this feature will be interesting to implement in the levels and also refreshing to play every now and then
no, the mirror portal is extremely limited, all it does is flip the screen. You can’t do things or experiment with it. This is different, u can make cool mini games and Creative challenges with this. I think it’ll really help bring some colour into this dull repetitive game.

*I don't really like this tbh, imo it doesn't really in the main game* The continuous movement of GD has always been the main mechanic in the game and i feel like by allowing the player to stop and think really breaks the momentum of the game. Also if this would be released in 2.2, all older levels would feel obsolete since they would miss a really big feature of the game. Robtop, I really hope you dont release this in the 2.2 update. Even the ability to go backwards was a little bit far for me xd (Tho this could be really cool as a spinoff sidegame like subzero or meltdown :p)
I agree what is it's a different type of style like we could have the regular mode and we can have this mode. We could maybe use this mode for puzzle levels or things like that. I think that'll be nice
At this point, I have an idea. When a level is featured there should be a tag next to it: action or puzzle. This tag would be determened by the moderators, depending on what the level is about. If it focuses on the new features and feels like a maze, it would be puzzle and if it's more classic it would be action tagged.I think this is a cool idea and if my idea is implemented it would be more fun for everyone. I agree, would be a nice, useful small addition to have! Perhaps there could also be a filter in the level search options so you can find what type of level you are after easier :)
