Noob question here, but I noticed a lot of the players being able to delay and cancel their auto-attacks making the animation run really quickly for last hitting. How exactly is that done?
the way we play here in the Philippines is different from China. China's strategy is hunting heroes in the early game while here in the philippines we hunt in the middle game. But mineski is one of the most professional dota teams in the world. :)
@shoelace510 I noticed that a lot as well but in championship games, pro teams really do dive early in the game just to make a kill, they just make the tower look a lot less powerful. But they don't really stay too long inside the tower to make that kill. They are just PRO.
@boooomerwang he does that because it makes him invisble for a second while moving. he doesnt wanna stay there in that spot because lina has a aoe stun. also it helps any negates any target stuns or spells.
@tiakeravelonna You should definitely give Dota 2 a shot! The new tutorial system will be great for introducing new players to the genre! I've always been horrible at PvP/RTS games as well, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying DotA!
I really hope they would put death animations to the projectiles and skill effects. I hate how the Sprout trees just come out of no where and disappear. Nice effects though.
Both teams did have ridiculously fast picks, but the thing I don't understand is that Mineski picked heroes that were already being countered by EHOME's lineup (i.e. picking SF against Storm Spirit and Anti-Mage against Doom). The big teamfight ulti was nowhere near close enough to save Mineski.
@tiakeravelonna A combination of both. With sufficient amount of mana, Storm Spirit is almost unstoppable if maneuvered properly (Except when silenced). Otherwise he's a very fragile hero, one wrong move and you're dead.
@boooomerwang Haven't watched it yet, but in DoTA sk is invisible for like a second or two after moving out of that channeling spell. So maybe the sk player just wanted to use the invisibility of the ability not the aoe damage of it.
relax lang mga paps. nung last year pa to e where mineski was just starting to play dota 2. ngaun malaki2 na din inimprove nila. hope they woulc qualify in ti3 next year
@meta26 Actually, those are really HAPPYFEET players who plays by the name Mineski. And they are not rich kids, they even forfeited SMM last year because they had no passports.
I watched it and yeah I just want to know what happened to SK (Sand King). but still I'm proud for Mineski. Don't lose hope, just keep trying. Proud to be Filipino.
Mineski's got good days - and bad days; this is one of 'em. Damn. I expected they've put more fight into this but... damn. Tinamad ata sila nung araw na to, ibang iba yung laro eh.
so the mineski team finally experienced the international scene... i hope they can do better next time (on the second thought i was like "fucking 44 -11? what a humiliation!"
@shielbert1 Mineski-Infinity and Happyfeet is the same.. lmao and Happyfeet players are the one playing this.. except for Crystal Maiden.. i think their support didn't get passport thats why!! but it doesn't matter.. they got pwned every lane..
