livinthesound Thank you very much! The SG is tuned to a drop C# and the key of the song is in C#m. The scale is basically a minor blues scale with some quirky bends.

Very nice. Sounds modal, but don't ask me which mode... Edit: Ok The beginning sounds straight minor, but when the bass line comes in it's something else.

cal nitamare Thank you so much! I’ve never compared the two side by side but I would imagine they produce some similar phase tones. The coolest feature of the Bad Stone is the auto/manual switch. I used a fixed frequency for that solo part.

David, thank you for your reply. I guessed you used the manual for the solo, yes. That's a very cool thing, I always tought how to stop the frequencies on the Small Stone since I had the first in my teenage years, I would like EHX done the same for the SS as I really prefer its 4 staged sound. Anyway the Bad Stone is a nice pedal too and I'll mind about buyin it just for that feature and the more control possibilities. I just finished to listen to all of your Short albums, which I like a lot, and decide to buy the EHX Shorts VII from Bandcamp. Listening to all the Shorts I understood how much this piece of music is torturing you as you worked on various version of it but I think you finally found the right one in this Bad Stone demo. Probably it will become a song in the future. Many of the Shorts recalled me much of the music and bands I like (I really appreciated the Big Star like hommage) and some pieces in particular keeps me in mind this old fantastic Italian record name Distortions, it was probably a demo for sounds like yours and probably you know it as it's clear you possess a large culture in music ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J4tAG8uV_9U.html So you are really a great musician with a lot of knowledge and fantasy and the others are right when they say that your music is way better than the radiolists of today and mr. Thanks! It’s a pair of matched condenser mics for the overheads into a stereo tube mic preamp, AKG drum pack on the two toms and snare with a Shure Beta 52A on the kick. All thru the DigiRack 003 interface enhanced with various plug-ins and compression.

Ramon Ferreira technically the phaseshifter creates a comb filter and a fourstage Phaser has 4 prongs and a 6 stage Phaser has 6 prongs and so on

Ramon Ferreira there is no better, since it’s all down to personal taste. Different? yeah sure, but it’s hard for me to put it in words. Maybe fuller frequency wise? My advice would be go down and try them at a guitar store.
