Yes cows is more important than other animals and when it comes to humans only brahmins matters infact previously brahmins used to torture goats,horses and other birds and other jatis.
People, there are a lot of Hindus in India, but India is NOT a Hindu country - there are other religions there. I have no issue against a religion, the issue is that because India accepts other religions, it needs to accept the fact that other people may choose to eat beef or pork - that is their choice. People are bringing up Muslim nations banning pork, are those countries also democracies? Just because some other country does so, doesn't make it right for India
I very truly agree with you.. Just because Hindus do not eat beef does not mean that people of other religious faiths should not be able to eat beef. It is our identity , culture and tradition. Those who do not know how to respect must not call themselves Indians.
I've lived in a Muslim country ruled by kings (Bahrain) and we do not ban pork over there even though pork is haram for Muslims to consume. There are others who eat pork so it is made available for them. These countries put India to shame for being more democratic even while being a monarchy.

Yeah i saw surprised to notice during my first visit to Kerala. In my native place (Karnataka), no Hindus eat beef. This is more of a cultural thing than a religious thing. Even in Nepal, where people are staunch Hindus, many of them eat beef.

So, for example, in countries that ban the slaughter of dogs or cats do not do so for religious reasons but for humanitarian reasons.

Pork is found out to be the most unhealthy for of meat consumed by humans, pigs eat shit lives in garbage and attracts virus and bacteria and causes disease (Scientific point) 2. Not just muslims (few sections of Christians and Jews) also have circumcision following the Abrahamic tradition and prescribed by Prophets. (Religious point) 2. Circumcision prevents penile cancer and thereby preventing female vaginal cancer. Moreover the prepuce and mushroom tip of penis is ultra sensitive and gets damaged by amniotic fluid when the baby is inside the womb of mother thus God provides a covering to it so after birth the foreskin is not useful and hygienic to keep. Moreover doctors in US advise even the people of other faith to get circumcision for health benefits(Scientific point)

Its true that eating an animal or food is a personal choice, the same way killing a person or not is our choice, but there is a difference that we will be called criminal and will be behind the bars in later case. I am 100% vegetarian, Eating any animal is just rude and ignorant towards a living thing with emotions. But 90% of adults who does not have meat in there entire life will never try to consume it, there inner soul does not allow that to them.The mere thought of eating something which was healthy living few minutes ago and now dead in your plate makes me sick. Plants are "living" too in that case. We have all evolved from primates which would have had meat as their primary source of protein. Quit you fake sympathy for animal emotions, at the end of the day even human emotions are mere just biochemical process's. What can be done is a more humane way to slaughter them if that will make you sleep at night.

The price of a cow in Bangladesh is 10 to 20 times higher than that in India. So for many Indians and Bangladeshis living near the border it's JACKPOT if you can somehow smuggle them into Bangladesh. We agree it's a choice of a person whether he decides to eat beef(cow) or not!! But anyone who eats beef has ever seen the slaughter house? The way those innocent creatures are treated before getting killed is gruesome man!! It's like they are being punished for some horrible acts they have done. Even a man hunter animal will not be killed that way. Other animals like chicken, fish, goats etc are killed too but the way cows are killed is way more horrific. And Hindus are not the only ones who forbid a certain animal to be consumed but there are other religion and countries present too. Like Judaism restricts from consuming of amphibians, reptiles, Urban pigeons in America, cat meat is forbidden in Jewish and Islamic law, dog meat in almost all western countries, Islamic countries and many other including Hindus too, horse meat in Jewish law and Christianity etc. Even if we leave the Goddess cow part the usefulness of cow in the past and present is what she has earned a respect among us like dogs. Most of those animals are not that helpful as a cow. Starting from dairy products to it's dung and urine is useful. Cow and bulls helped Indians survive and still do as many farmers still use dungs as fertiliser and bulls to pull their carts. So sentiments of people are related with cows. But this does not give any one the right to kill another human. It's utter stupid, inhuman and barbaric at the same time. And as we all know politicians use it to trigger emotional religious people to do horrible acts for the sake of religion for votes. In the end I think our believes should be respected too at least in this Hindu majority country but violence is unacceptable in all forms and imposing ban is not justified as it's a free country.

India is not practicing what it preaches , secualrism is not being practiced on this basis the beef ban is evidence alone. Today the majority of our country has restrictions on beef tomorrow the vegetarians who co incidently make up 80% of our population will want the slaughter of any animal illegal. It is the 21st century we must respect other people's beliefs even if they disturb us but that is unfortunately the world we live in.
