Eid Ride - Safe Riding Tips, How to Brake on a non-ABS bike

Here's my third Vlog. This time around I'm heading to my friends' places to wish them on the occasion of Eid. On the go, I talk about very relevant Safe Riding Tips and also how to brake effectively on a non-ABS bike. I list the safe riding tips point wise such that the point registers in your mind and you can remember all of them easily. I also do a live demo of how the rear wheel can lock up if we use only the rear brake while braking. I show you how to use both the front and rear brakes and how much pressure you need to apply such that you could come to a stand still in the shortest span of time without the bike skidding.

for everyone's info. I'm from Kerala. when I used to wear helmet and gloves for my daily commuting, all people are staring at me. I think they have a feel that. wearing glove and jacket are only for racing/ racers and I'm gonna race in streets. people must change this view. Gr8 work dino . expecting more vedios from u.
@kalpakkar
@kalpakkar 8 лет назад
I second you Justin. but you there people who think they know it all and they have god watching over them and they will never encounter any harm while riding. then there are people who are too smart to buy any gear. these people will always mock and laugh at you. but your life is the most precious. so let the hooligans laugh, while you be safe.

ha ha ha, once when I was at RE showroom for a shoot. A guy looked at me suited up and commented, are you going to Ladakh? Can't help man. I'm sure he'll realise the importance of wearing safety gear sooner or later.

+Dino's Vault . No I don't think so. we can't help them . they will realise only after they met with an accident 😶

An MRI after an accident costs between 7K to 15K. Add to that cost of hospitalisation etc. and that would be an expense of minimum 50K. physical disabilities are complementary with head injuries. wiser to invest 10k for a reasonably good helmet. Good point made.

I had done a mistake which you told as 10th point. I was riding in non traffic road. for a sec I was telling something to a friend by without seeing road. In that mean time a car was suddenly stopped. I was hit by the car. Fortunately i weared helmet so no damage for me. Even my bike didnt get damage. I will follow all your tips for sure. Thank you sir

hey dino great video once again. here I would like to say that we often tend to ignore safety and think why should we need to spend more for riding gear. well my friends, if you can even spend an additional 20% of the cost of your bike for riding gear, it will give you protection against crashes and accidents. don't think of saving 10-20k today, because life is precious and no one can put a price on it. to give an example- I have only placed a order with my dealer, but I have bought all the necessary riding gear to get started.
@DinosVault

@meditationandrelaxingsound2779
Very gud video regarding safety while riding... Keep it up sir...I also follow the things u mentioned while riding as I believe only we can save ourselves from getting into an accident everybody should follow road safety rules. Nobody should blame others if they themselves don't follow the rules also the people crossing the road should be careful and see the oncoming traffic! I am saying these things becoz many of my relatives died in road accidents either becoz of others fault or their own.

First of all 'Eid mubarak' bro. This video is so good that I can express in words. But want to share my point of view on some of the things. I think Its compulsory to have rear view mirrors even in city rides & its better if you have blind spot mirrors as an extra. Want to ask you about CBS version, does it prevent from wheel locking?Does it act like ABS?At last thanks for giving such a informative video for us🙏

Thank you so much for the info brother..this is very important message for the riders. For me the rearview mirrors are very important in the city.. without them I can't ride.
@DinosVault
@DinosVault 8 лет назад
I agree man, but on some bikes the mirrors are too small and they aren't angled properly wherein we don't get a clear view of what is behind us. That's the reason why I emphasized to use it even though I don't have them on myself.
