Either way works great but Alot of people are against notched trowels nowadays as is doesn't give proper rainscreen gaps. We use a mud gun so we control the spacing of rainscreen. I'm still wondering why a prefab starter wasn't used along the bottom in this application.

when using a trowel he should have put a thin layer on the foam and thick layer on the wall....it bonds so much better

Base coat is not designed too be used over wood frame as an adhesive

So slow I agree with Tworottz it’s take forever to glue this wall working by the hour like City job and another 4 men should be watch

Why not use liquid nails?

The blue is a roll on weather shield over dense glass and the foam was stuck with PAREX base coat thanks for watching the video

I’ve also done this work for over 25 years and have done it the same way as you and everyone else I had just done a job right before this one where I had to stick 4’x8’x2” sheets on the wall and that’s how it was done I done this one just to see how the 2’x4’ sheets would work I figured I would show something different sorry if everyone has a problem with it
