Trust Andrew to make any sort of tech look so beautiful and immersive. I've seen the other videos on the new pod 4 and they have nothing on how well done this is 👍
Bought the Pod3 a year ago. All the reviewers said it was quiet, but it’s pretty loud and annoying. In a room with wood floors it seems to echo. I eventually got used to it after moving it to my wife’s side. Glad to see they are working on the noise issue. I like the idea of the tap sensor but I wish they would use an open api so we could use third party devices or home automation to control it. Would love to see a rotary bed side dial accessory to turn it up or down and something that would work on their old pods. Obviously their goal is to control it with AI algorithms but there are just certain times where you want to bump the temp up or down.
@@cruisinusa5110 My wife seems to be ok with the noise. It seems to bother me more but I’ve slowly gotten used to it over time. One thing that helps is keeping the water topped off. When I run an air filter on my side of the bed the white noise seems to drowned out the Pod noise. All that being said, the pod really helps in the summer heat. My foam mattress used to just soak up the heat in the summer time and I would wake up with night sweats. The pod fixed all if that and it’s super comfortable in the summer now
Enjoyed the storyline and flow of this video, it's freshhhh. The pod systems seem properly life changing with the dual temperature control cause women always want to be warmer, and men always want to be cooler lol. But the monthly subscriptions is a let down...
if. you're planning to make another video on it after the first impressions, it would be good to know how it actually works like the tech behind the tracking and temperature
The thing holding me back is if you allegedly have no internet you cannot control the 8 Sleep? Secondly what if the business goes bust, are you then stuck with a $ mattress cover?
Been a customer since early 2021, and after 3 pod 3s that eventually leak, paid the $700 upgrade to get a pod4, I hope the cover doesn't bust like all the others!
Hey - I’m looking at purchasing a eight sleep pod; I wanted take a physical look at it and the packaging before buying it - is there a retail store where I can see it in-person or can purchase this only online? I’m also planning to move to Europe so wondering about its electrical data does it support 110-230 V AC - would be good if you share anything in this regards because I don’t find such information online

Is it possible to disable the tap zones? I for instance sleep on a Japanese futon. So those controls would be under my futon. I’m worried of the buttons being “tapped” when rolling onto my side for instance
No option to disable it from what I've seen. But for a futon, I don't think it'd be an issue because the tap zones needs a decent amount of force to register the tap
