Superscription of data: Basically stated, it's data entry. It's putting everything together into a cohesive data bank and there's a HUGE Bernkastel/Umineko reference because Bernkastel is the data vessel for Rika's memories.
I was wondering when this would get on RU-vid! All of us Higurashi/Eiko Shimamiya fans have been waiting forever for this come out!!! THANK YOU OH SO VERY MUCH FOR UPLOADING THIS!!!!! :DDDD
It's not a happy song, so much as it's telling you that happiness can lie on the other side of despair and fighting to break fate, that the dream that you can reach for can actually be grasped. It starts out like typical Higurashi openings, downplayed, dark, and then elevates to so much more. Truly, Eiko is my songstress
Thank you so much for this, it feels like I've been waiting forever! I loved this song the first time I heard it. Higurashi openings rock. They fit so well with the feelings you experience in the anime.
Super scription of data
Everything. It has everything to do with it. Putting together everything good and bad together in your memory banks and having gratitude for all the things that you have.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! I've been waiting for the full song for months! It's just as good as I expected it to be, since all higurashi songs are always good! Now I have to get it on my ipod! ^-^
Official english lyrics: Shall I tell you? Promise me you wont tell anyone else, okay Lets pinky promise; if you lie swallow a thousand needles While its still folded up unfold the wriggling story And show it to me, past and future Super scription of data Every time I was reborn I was buried in tinted crystals Whenever those seven colors were all present-
I swear i remember like 10 years ago listening to this song on youtube and someone in the comments mentioned there being creepy chanting in the background, and after listening closely there was indeed some barely audible chanting that spooked the hell out of me. Now i'm listening again and there's nothing and no one mentions it. I feel crazy man
lol this song came out after my finals...sure as hell wished i knew that so i could've just mellowed out to it afterwards. Oh well too late. Thnx for the link btw!
I love this anime so much i watched the whole series two times in a row XD andd my first time watching higurashi was in middle school XD i love all the openings too
@MaddDevoss As an adaptation, the anime is actually better than you might think. It's a whole different medium, and the sound novel's many strengths were transplanted seamlessly. The biggest loss is the absence of Keiichi's first person perspective, as it's almost impossible to pull off. The voice acting is stellar, the animation, though budget, holds up nicely - and is much better than what Ryukishi could pull off personally - and the story, even if compressed, is perfectly paced.
"Mort" is not a german word. In this context it is likely a derivative of the latin "mors"(pl.: "mortis"). "Mort" in French stands for the adjective "dead",while (la) "morte" stands for the substantive "death". Note that in "morte" the "e" is silent, and is disappearing in text form also. The only german word that gets close is the above mentioned "Mord" which means "murder" In Italian, which is also derived from latin, "morto/a" is the adjective "dead", and "morte" is the substantive "death"
How did I not remember that it was on Higurashi -_- Just heard this on the radio and I was woundering where the hell I had heard it from. Heh, even bigger clue was that characters from Higurashi where talking earlier...
People, I thank you for your help, but I asked that question a year ago. I watched the first season and part of the second. Plus, I did some independent research on the plotholes and stuff. So, I'm no longer in need of help with that. I am grateful to those who helped me out, but I'm OK now.
I do not speak japan so much that I could say what evary single word means but I know that there is really good belody in this song and it makes me happy :3
@cfo900 Since you desire it Its always there If you can change Everything will change Super scription of data The blinding cycle of death and rebirth cuts me apart with a prismatic sword And the kakera of sadness is already gone Super scription of data
@AliceSinfulAi nope. i can't tell you much with out spoiling, but season 2 focuses on how to stop things from going wrong, where as 3 is more of things that happen after things are all fixed.
@vaan123456789 Well Kinda. The one serious arc was a what if situation, but it actually wasn't a new timeline, It was a dream sequence created by hanyu for rika. but that and the other two episodes all took place after the fact.
Seeing so many comments from 11,12 years ago gives me weird vibes. Higurashi is a really entertaining show and cringe as it might sound, I hope you all are alive to see the new additions that came out recently.
@LoliBMovie Rei was an epilogue, and the "show" is actually a series of novels. With a point. Higurashi isn't a gore fest, the gore is there for shock value in the beginning. Rei did it's purpose, and quite well.
