best ending song in higurashi. i can’t even express how much i love this song. and then irregular entropy came. okay. i changed my mind again, i think this song is better but irregular entropy is still a close second.

"The Characters Grow on you As if you were there" I felt this especially with Takano Mio. They way you like, hate her at first. Then the scene with the orphanage and the very end when she is caught by the kids and she starts freaking out because she can't finish the research that her "grandfather" started, I actually felt sorry for her. I love the way they did that.
English: I pile soil onto your corpse Even if that was forbidden In the bliss of your innocent gaze There was an incompletely hidden temptation Why do sins exist? Why do punishments exist? The tip of the bone was very white And invited the infinitely continuing darkness Just about everything might seem vivid And disappear soon I lock up your memories Even if they were to be damaged At the depths of a crazed love There was an incompletely repressed impulse While I gathered up the pieces I was waiting for the end of the dream Because those who have sins are giving up Because those who have punishments yearn too much Just about everything might be abandoned And spin, keep on spinning Will I be able to laugh when morning comes? Will I be able to laugh like I did on that day? I wish, I keep on wishing That there isn’t a thing that I’ve lost Japanese: Anata no nakigara ni tsuchi o kakeru Sore ga kinjirarete ita to shite mo Junsui na manazashi no kairaku ni wa Kakushikirenai yuuwaku ga atta Doushite tsumi ga aru no darou Doushite batsu ga aru no darou Hone no saki wa amari ni mo shiroku Mugen ni tsuzuku yami o sasotta Nani mo kamo ga azayaka ni miete Sugu ni kiete shimau Anata no omoide ni kagi o kakeru Sore ga sokonawarete ita to shite mo Kuruoshii aijou no okusoko ni wa Osaekirenai shoudou ga atta Kakera o hiroiatsumenagara Yume no owari o matte ita Tsumi ga aru no wa akiramete iru kara Batsu ga aru no wa motomesugiru kara Nani mo kamo ga okizari ni sarete Mawaru mawaritsuzukeru Asa ga kureba waraeru darou ka Ano hi no you ni waraeru darou ka Nakushita mono wa nani hitotsu nai to Negau negaitsuzukeru Japanese:
I went to your channel, and watched that video with the song Nano Desu... damn it you made me waste half an hour of my life... **walks away, but then walks back** Thank you xD
and saddest and best thing is that story based on mistery and that you don't know anything about this riddle, and characters are good, music is good but, story,if you know answears you have no reason to come here again ;/
Wojszach I strongly disagree with the idea that you've got no reason to return upon learning the answers. See, Higurashi is not primarily a mystery. Kai in particular is a tragedy about senseless death and how people are torn apart by their psychological baggage. For that reason, in addition to the brilliant storyline, lovable characters, and phenomenal atmosphere, Higurashi is well worth revisiting even after the answers were revealed.
just few more years, still remember too much, for me strongest was mistery, everything else was very good but greatest strike went from lack of knowledge what is happening
Wojszach I must agree. I decided to re-watch the series but after i hardly finished first season, i didn't even thought about watching second one. It's really beautiful and good anime, but when i remember how it was to watch it first time... I was watching it at night, i was scared as hell (i watched it first when i was 13) and interested in all those secrets. Now when i watched it, i was only looking forward for my favourite moments, because i knew all the secrets already. It wasn't boring, but compared to the past, it's not enjoyable for me.
One of the MOST violent animes I have ever seen.............with one of the most bad ass soundtracks ever made! The opening and closing themes from both seasons are superb.
Easily the best Higurashi song for me. The emotion this stokes is otherworldly, and it makes me feel something special that I can’t completely describe. Amazing song.
I love it when end credits contrast with the anime's general atmosphere. It's such a beautiful and gentle song for a show that's been distressing and violent as fuck. Thanks for uploading
I hear you, but I still disagree. The lives documented in the show have always ended in a cycle of tragedy but I don't feel the show leaned heavily on it. It was never dour, it was generally bright, the protagonists always did place their best foots forward and there has been much more than one instance of real comedy, of hopeful romance, etc. "Leaning heavily on tragedy" would be a show like Texhnolyze.
Edriss Scofield It gets really dark and dramatic several times. The end of Meakashi-hen, Episode 1 of Kai, and the deaths of the club members in Minagoroshi-hen come to mind.
No argument here, but now you've gone from "tragedy" to "dark and dramatic" and presenting it like it's a rebuttal to what I said. Maybe you consider them synonyms? OK, but I don't, so my disagreement's still there.
People in the comment section say that Shion was insane but would we not all react the same way? I love Shion because she’s so relatable as she proves anyone given the circumstances can turn into a lunatic. She reminds me that my emotions are always tested by people I love (although I’d never kill someone ever for that and I don’t think she would have either if it weren’t for hinamizawa Syndrome). She proves that we’re only human - it’s the limit of our morality that makes have this beautiful human experience of emotion.
Facts. Like imagine watching the dissapearence of the person you love unfold unbeknownst to you, and not getting answers from the people you find most suspicious.
@manhcuong3035 I feel you, I remember when i first Finished Kai around midnight. When they beat takano I almost cheered out loud, it was so cathartic. I need to check out some of the visual novels in the future.
The end is beautiful, even though it is just a calendar showing 1st July 1983, i cried so hard for it, rika finally get to lead the life that she wants after going through all the hardship with her friends!
This is one of those shows that is not as popular as other shows, but I'm satisfyingly happy about that. Because it can then feel like an anime where I can truly escape to because its this special place that is not well known or heard of that much. Its my secret anime that not many people know about but has so much character and world to it that I can lose myself into it. I'm so happy that I discovered this by myself and have this special secret to myself. Years ago, people never would have imagined such a show's existence. Years from now, this show may be lost through the oedipus of time, but it will always remain as that one anime that truly cemented my emotional love for anime (Deathnote being a close second, pokemon third). Thank you Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni & Kai. Thank you for existing in your own world, and embracing your timelessness.
Sayaka Miki Future boy conan, hayao miyazakis only tv series. It was only popular in japan and europe in the 80s, but now no one knows about it anymore. Its story is stunning however. Its pre studio ghibli
Only one word ....epic ....and if you have seen the whole anime s1 and s2 you will really understand this song really it will give you goosebumps really and if you compare this song to your humble life then it will just be relatable if you have a little sad life 🤗please enjoy this song from the bottom of your heart ...btw I have watched whole anime and this song really feels epic ..love this song 10/10❤also love higurashi ❤❤❤❤🇮🇳
I think that everyone can connect with at least one character from the higurashi series for me it's Rena because I can kind of relate to her story. If anyone else connected with a certain character feel free to explain :-)
coolman85541 And then you have a picture of shion. Or atleast i think it is Shion *spoiler* When Shion goes mental over Satoshi. Or I am completely wrong, it starts to be some weeks since i watched season 1
I could relate to shion, in the chapter where she went mad, and killed everyone, as i feel hatred towards a vast amount of people, to the point of obsession.
i think it has being 1 year since the last time i cried, dont matter how much happy i am, how much sad i am, the emotion is not enough to break the shield my heart created after so many things that life told me. i couldnt cry to let this feelings of either happines or sadness flow over my body. then i listen to this music, and cry for both happiness and sadness at the same time. this music worked for me not only once today, but twice. hell Higurashi! what a great anime, what a great piece of music. too many feelings an memories that i dont even need to remember the translation to understand what they're saying, the melody and the context translate it self.
My fav anime since I watch it first time - it was 9 years ago and still top 1 Plot is simply wonderfull, Hinamizawa village is beautiful and characters are cruel, gorgeous and cute especially Rika, Hanyuu and Rena ~.~
I don't know if you did already, but if you loved Higurashi no naku koro ni - the anime, then go read the VNs ! They are as awesome if not even better ^^
I really couldn't help but teared up.... beautiful song with really deep lyric. Truly suits well as ending song literally an ending of so much struggle and tragedy....
Back here again a decade later, to enjoy one of my favorite EDs of all time after watching the first episode of the continuation of one of my favorite 2000s anime.
As beautiful as this is, its quite disturbing. The lyrics are actually very dark, which are fitting. Its still a lovely song but if you don't know Japanese or haven't read the lyrics, then you are in for a suprise, friend.
Oh, shit, I'm crying and screaming, after years, I love it so much, the feeling, the voice and that background. I listen at least 10 times, thanks for that amazing sharing
I really love this song. It gives me the image of a cool, bright night with a shining full moon and stars, wind blowing by my face. I really love the walzier style too! (ahh I'm a sucker for waltzier songs)
so... 2020... 10 years later, entire world going crazy, the year full of crap, mass disease, WW3 threat, armies budget highest since the cold war, civil war against police violence and racism... and well here you go, higurashi is getting a remake. in a way that's the best news of the year... in another way you will cry even more than you did ever since 2020 started.
Everytime I hear this ending song, I can't help but think back to a one-or-two liner within this anime, regarding how Hanyuu is effectively "A Useless God(ess)". Don't know why exactly, but it just... hits me every time...
The first time i watched the first season i remember an almost refreshing feeling after a few episodes, it was a nice change from other anime at the time
I think about this epic journey through countless worlds, searching for peace for all of them, and a timeless quest to change Fate once and for all. Thats how beautiful this sawng is. D:
@@MikeSully2888 In my opinion, you're kind of but not really wrong. You see, Rika has literally lived through hundreds of years watching her friends die, with her not being able to do anything even if she gives them hints about their deaths. Natsuki Subaru hasn't had that same time period compared to Rika, but his physical and mental pain is immaculate considering that he tries with all his heart to try and change the outcome of each reset. I'd say that their suffering is about the same, but at the same time there are certian moments when both suffer more than the other.
This anime is truely amazing. Brings you close to the characters. I remember watching episode 5 in the first season then hearing this song at the end after all the death, what a strange feeling....Somehow this song made death seem graceful.
Wow I totally forgot about this song…it’s certainly sad, but also makes me happy in a strange way. :) perhaps it’s my old emotions being awakened inside me
I don't know about anyone else but I will definetly cry when I see the end of Kai, let alone Rei. I hope Funimation or Viz or someone licenses this series soon. I absolutely love it.
though your words ring true in my heart, alas, for i have none but the clarity or sanity, to illuminate the truth, in whose words you seek so much. The ending of this song goes as follows If tomorrow comes, will I be able to smile? Will I be able to smile like I did on that day? I wish, I keep wishing That not one thing will be lost ...
