To my friend from Malta. I don't have too many suggestions. One thing that might help is to place your egg in a cavity the you carve out of a large sponge, like one that you might use to wash a car. It acts like a cradle and keeps the egg in place. There is an egg lathe that actually holds the egg in the middle of two long rods. It can be rotated. See if you can google egg lathe. I wish that I could visit you in Malta. I love that part of the world. I actually want to live in Italy for a month or two every year. hello and thanks, my name is Elizabeth Hair, Malta is right down below Sicily so our island has alot of Italian influence. Sadly there are only two egg craft shops here but I'm glad to say one is near my home so I visited it once (and spent ALOT) I'll try the sponge idea as I'm a bit worried I'll crush the eggs in a lathe.
