Saw Eilen play a few months ago at Twangfest in St Louis, did they put on a great show! And, she and her band mates were so nice to the fans that stuck around at the end of the show, chatting and signing autographs.
I see a lot of goods and greats along this board, and a few that seem to get it. These performers have not only harnessed the essence of country music, but have written and performed in fantastic quality in most all of their recordings. This Jewel truly is a gem. Hank would be proud.

Thankfully she has toured Australia a couple of times,and New Zealand. Saw two sets in Australia. Simply wonderful singer,and band. Mesmerizingly great. The female equivalent of Chris Isaak.
Jamison Brown I was so sad I had to miss he at Tin Pan! How was it? She is better live than her studio recordings. Saw her in Hampton years ago & had dinner seated next to her. No pretensions at all
Eilen Jewell and her wonderful band played their hearts out to the small audience in the Tin Pan. It was more than I could have ever expected. Those three musicians and Eilen had me spell bound from the time they walked on stage. She comes back next year and I'll be there. Her voice sort of reminds me of Patsy Cline but with more clarity and richness.
