Eilonwy's So Contagious

@FCWPM I had forgotten that I even wrote that, but reading it again I stand by every word! I'm so happy there are still readers of Prydain out there. The land and its colorful characters are so close to my heart.

yeah, black cauldron is awesome! i've rad the books too, & i must say, elionwy is 1 of my fav characters! i like the whole series (i mean, the characters can have so many faults that it's easy to like them as they are then more "human"), & elionwy can be so funny, especially when she's upset w/ taran (which happens a *lot*!) i wish that they'd do movies for the whole series (but at the same time i don't because i don't want them to be dragged through the mud like eragon!)

I'm glad so many people like the movie, but it pales in comparison to the books it's based on! It's like a bizarre amalgamation of books 1 and 2 with Gurgi as a diminutive monkey-dog rather than the man-sized animal-person he's supposed to be... and no Ellidyr, who really broke the cauldron, and no Adaon, whose sacrifice enabled Taran to inherit the wisdom of the brooch... I could go on, but I am glad that some people have found Prydain through this otherwise disappointing movie.
