12:10 ahaha do you have to be using save states in order to do that with the blade? Or could a normal human do that? If so I am going to find my disc and play it at some point just for that.
Seriously does everyone just click on TAS videos, see that it says it has 27k rerecords as in save states and then come to the conclusion that someone hacked to get this result?
What the hell is with that bug that makes enemies explode without you do anything? This is my favorite game on PSX but that's just something I've never seen before.
Well, I know that the arm that holds the weapons damages enemies when it touches them. I'm still not sure how come the bosses seem to spontaneously die, the author's submission notes don't really explain well at all.
I just wish the author of this TAS wasn’t so secretive and vague. It’s been 8 years since this was posted and still they have never spoken up to explain HOW they are abusing the game to achieve instant boss kills without ever firing. I thought the point of a TAS was to share and explain (in author’s comments) the cool ways in which they are breaking a game. All this TAS has done is confused and angered people that are just wishing to understand how it all works. Shame.
Abusing game weaknesses and calling it a speed run. Not really all that impressive. I dont remember the sword being used like a blender either though it did look cool looking into this would have been nicer if someone had actually pulled it off without abusing game weaknesses and actually playing the game it was meant to be played. Still have my Einhander Disk at home and play it on the real thing. Really dissapointed with this speed run. =(
