A beautiful state park, only 1 1/2 hours from DFW.
The signs says. "Park Closed, due to capacity."
This means that even day use is full.
We are traveling in a one of a kind Coleman 17B. The 17B is the lowest priced RV in the market for its size. I tend to think of the 17B as a starter kit that owners can personalize to fit their own needs and tastes. Virtually every one is a “one of a kind” project. We have completed over 50 upgrades or modifications on ours.

Nobody goes there any more. It's too crowded. : )

It is a very popular State Park. That might mean it is really good. Yes it is often filled to capacity, but isn't that good sign. We can't really say, "Nobody goes there." when it has people being turned away every weekend. The problem might be that everybody IS going there. Having said that, we have visited there twice in the past month. It was closed to capacity, both times but we booked ahead. It wasn't like it was just jam packed with people. Of course we didn't go swimming. It might depend on what you want out of a park.
