Yeah it's a really good game!

Agreed, maybe I'd score it 7.5/10. I played it on release, it was very buggy and I don't mind bugs for sidequests in other games, but in this game you need all characters recruited from all sidequests so the bugs are really bad (cooking was absolutely broken on release needed for recruitment). Some character stat growths made no sense to me either, like Mio was so weak even though she's a mercenary, there were mages with better physical strength growths than her. I get that not all characters can be balanced equally but it's almost as if the devs went out of their way to make the major characters really bad stat wise, and in a game like this it gets grindy and you'd have to work 3 times as hard using those character. I didn't like 3 protagonists either, it felt a bit too much for a game of this scope and it gave me Suikoden 3 vibes. Still a fun game to play if you like Suikoden!

That's really too bad, I heard people saying that they missed the griffin or they missed another glitched character too. They really should make a patch to fix the missable griffin, because all other characters can be recruited at any time and aren't missable.

@@BAIGAMINGreally? All I did was talk to Marisa who was on the 1st floor of the home base and she told me about an NPC in one of the villages that spotted a Griffin. The griffin appeared in the one after talking to the NPC. Was this glitch patched or was I just lucky?

Talk to Marisa at the First Floor of the HQ, then proceed to Altverden Village to talk with one of the NPCs (there is an NPC who has an idea about Aleior). Afterwards go to the Abandoned Mines to find Aleior. REMEMBER: Marisa should be in your party. This must be done before you go to Yarnaan quest

It's a really good game and a really good ending ^^

I guess so! Maybe that's why reviewers were harsh on the game because they missed a glitched character and got the bad end.

​@@BAIGAMINGwell likely reason is cause like suikoden like with gremio and nanami you have to do certain things to keep them alive. Gremio you had to get all stars of destiny and nanami in order for her to live you need to have a specific thing done before fighting the Mathilda knight leader if I remember So likely same with Perielle, I won't know for sure until I get game myself, I might get it in month might be way later

Yeah I enjoyed Suikoden a lot back in the day, I'd always go for all recruitment. This one was a bit tricky with bugs but it's still a really fun experience.

I had the same thoughts as you did, I'm doing all the dialog perfectly but I barely managed to win, so I'm not sure if level and stats play a part. Double check to make sure the "boss phase" is the same, sometimes bosses will repeat the exact same dialog but the correct option changes if the boss is in the second phase.

@@BAIGAMING yeah must be since I benched the main characters for the last dungeon. Managed to beat it eventually without having to go back and grind them up. Seems hella weird and random

I'm sorry to hear that. It's a really buggy game, I had trouble getting through it too because some glitches are game-breaking. Hopefully they patch the game. Or you can always just watch the ending here if you just want to see the ending, I got the perfect recruitment end.
