That's a feature of the Caribbean accent, i.e., Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic. Whomever provided the voice was probably from either of those two places. In Andalucía (the south of Spain) the opposite is true: Ls sound like Rs, such as "curtura." Of course, that does not excuse the character generator operator from poor transcription.
You know, the thing is, Chucks face when he smiles still has that natural childs sweetness that most men lose. He smiles, doesn't get it, and makes everybody smile too. Somebody else who has that, and has to be very careful when he plays bad guys, is Jon Voight. He's great as a bad guy now, but as soon as he smiles, he still looks like a big kid.
I’m actually really impress of Kenny remembers that much Spanish from just four years in college. He’s probably travelled abroad a bunch so maybe he practices. He was laughing about as soon as the words came up so yeah either he’s good or they all had the answers but chuck
The steam room story was the best ever on Inside the NBA, and television in general, but this is up there. The steam room story was soo good that they used jokes from that for this segment.
It really impressed me. He said during it he took four years in college, that’s actually not a lot unless you keep it up and practice over the years. Obvs he can travel whenever wherever but he clearly keeps up on it. Smart dude
If you don’t know why the Spanish sentences were so funny, I highly recommend you watch the clip of Chuck explaining how he got the bracelet he’s wearing😂😂
man i swear shaq only cares about what chuck has to say and only interested when chuck talks LOL...his whole expression changes when chuck starts talking
I have never studied Spanish and I would have owned Chuck. So I think it is safe to say he hasn't studied but for some reason he knows what a churro is.
