Wonderful content. Thanks for sharing. Can the tickets be paid using visa/ master card or do we need to carry cash?

You’ll definitely need cash tip for parking, and we suggest never depending on using cards at remote locations in case machines are down. We carry cash and then think of it as a bonus if we can use card (and it works)!!

Loved the video! Was the cenote included the price of entrance or was it additional money?

Thank you!! Unfortunately it’s not included. Tickets are 170 pesos. You do buy your ticket just inside the entrance to Ek Balam at the palapa with the free bikes for the 2km ride over. You can also drive as there is plenty of free parking, along with changing rooms, lockers (free lock!), showers, and bathrooms. If you go early, you’ll likely have it all to yourself for a few minutes!

how many hours did you spend at the ruins and the cenote ? i don't have a lot of time , would like to enjoy both without been super rushed , but not hanging out all day . Let me know . thx

Maybe 3 hours total… you could definitely do both in under 2 hours if needed and not feel rushed. It just depends on how long you want to relax at the Cenote. Enjoy!!
