I first heard about Baltistan about a year ago. these people cloths, customs and traditions are very similar to that of us, the Hazaras living in central Afghanistan. I want to visit Baltistan sometime in my life, talk to their people, learn about your culture, I feel like their is some kind of connection between us. Love you people
People of Baltistan and Kargil are Shia Muslims like most of the Hazaras. As for ethnicity is concerned Balti and Purgi (Kargili) people are mostly Tibetan Dardic mixed, while the Hazaras are mixed people having predominantly Mongol, Turkic and Iranian genes according to researchers. Yes, the Hazaras looks very similar to us. ❤
Have you ever seen any baltistani girl singing a song or dancing with a stranger.i never saw in my life, but saw them reciting naat and qaseedas . But kargil girls shamelessly dance in any program like a beda.shame on them.
