The band leaves it all out on the EMGtv stage with this performance of "Souls of Fire". Once again, Ektomorf shows off their aggressive music and lyrical content with lead singer, Zoltán Farkas, using his EMG 81-8X and EMG 85-8X to keep a tight low end on his eight string guitar. Tamás Schrottner rounds out the guitar tones with the EMG 808X. Keeping it all together is Szabi Murvai on the bass using the EMG 35DC bass pickups.

Perfect band to jam to. Everyone views this band the wrong way. It's a lot of fun to do solos over their songs because they're mainly a rhythmic band that has a massive tone. Can't wait for their next release!

I like it. Good raw vocals, beefy, sludgy guitar tone (although I would personally get a baritone 6 for this style and save myself the carpal tunnel/tendinitis). Bass tone really sat well in the mix. I think a lot of people miss the point of this.

I was touring with Ektomorf when they made this video. They had just introduced 8 strings to the band. The sound quality of this studio is shit, for whatever reason, and completely kills the vibe of any artist who plays there. The people who run it are fantastic but the room is weird.

I like a lot of different metal bands from darkthrone to Kyuss to Acid Bath to Lamb of God. I think this is a cool band. Sure they have a lot of bad stuff but this song in particular is one of my favs \m/ Keep it up Ekto!

You filmed all the Ektomorf footage on the same day i assume (they are wearing the same clothes in "outcast"). Wouldnt the horrible reviews of ektomorfs outcast, uploaded over a year ago, be a sign to not load more ektomorf?

Their sound is not particularly good, I wouldn't use them to showcase any of my products... Plus they play on the level of some 13 year olds who've just gotten into metal... I'm sorry, but that's my impression and it's pretty disappointing.
