Simply sea, sand and the waves along the coast near El Cotillo Fuerteventura. Starting at Piedra Playa, aka the Surfer's beach, then Playa de la Concha (Shell Beach) followed by the only sheltered part of the El Cotillo lagoons I could find.
The El Cotillo beaches are very varied from long sandy stretches with wild seas for watersports to sheltered bays and lagoons.
The wind was so strong that I had to abandon my original plans for this video as all you would have heard would be the wind. Instead, I had to find some sheltered spots by the cliffs and behind rocks that I could set the camera up on to keep the microphones out of the wind.
