★元々の曲はM.マッサーが作曲した プロボクシング元ヘビー級世界チャンピオンだったモハメド・アリの自伝を基にした本人主演(!!)の映画「The Greatest」の挿入歌
”I Always Knew I Had It In Me" (M. Masser)です、その後サンタナが
”El Farol”としてスローで静かな感じにアレンジ、レコーディングしています(^_-)-☆
★”モハメッド・アリ”の自伝映画”The Greatest”ではジョージ・ベンソンが歌とギターを担当、こちらも素晴らしいです(^^♪ タイトルは ”I Always Knew I Had It In Me" (M. Masser)の作曲でアフリカのリズムと高らかに鳴る管楽器で気分が高揚するこの器楽曲は、前年に異種格闘技戦をおこなったアントニオ猪木に寄贈したとされ、猪木のテーマ曲「炎のファイター～INOKI BOM-BA-YE～」として日本では有名。「ボンバイエ」はザイール(現コンゴ)の首都キンシャサでのジョージ・フォアマン戦(もちろん、この1974年"キンシャサの奇跡"が映画のハイライト)での声援「Boma ye」(リンガラ語「やっちまえ」)が訛ったものと言われている。
★アントニオ猪木さんの入場テーマ曲「炎のファイター・猪木ボンバイエ」^^♪
★This song is included in Carlos Santana's album "Supernatural" and many of you may already know it. ★The original song was "I Always Knew I Had It In Me" (M. Masser), an insert song for the movie "The Greatest" based on the autobiography of former professional boxing world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, who starred in it (!!), composed by M. Masser. Later, Santana arranged it as "El Farol" with a slow and quiet feel and recorded it (^_-)-☆ ★George Benson is in charge of singing and guitar in the autobiography of "Muhammad Ali", which is also great (^^♪ The title is "I Always Knew I Had It In Me" (M. Masser), and this instrumental piece, which is uplifting with African rhythms and loud wind instruments, is said to have been donated to Antonio Inoki, who fought in a mixed martial arts match the previous year, and was used as Inoki's theme song "Fighter of Fire ~INOKI It is famous in Japan as "BOM-BA-YE". It is said that "Boma ye" is a corrupted version of the cheer "Boma ye" ("Do it!" in Lingala) that was heard during the fight against George Foreman in Kinshasa, the capital of Zaire (now the Congo) (of course, this 1974 "Kinshasa Miracle" is the highlight of the movie).
