Personally not trying to say anything but. Vicious should have won. Vicious has more character when breaking even if he's battled countless rounds, while El Nino looked like he was HELLA tired. You dont want that representin' the US in Russia. And Vicious had a wider variety of moves. This year for sure im going to be rooting for another country. Because honestly, dont think Nino will hold it down as hard as the other bboys would.
MY OPINNION: Vicious Vic should have won. cause he have energy, foundation, creativity, originality, musicallity and are always smiling! Look, all the qualifiers winners: el niño, lil g, flying buddha, taisuke, lagaet, all powerheads. Bboying becomes just 'spins'. Bring emotion to the DANCE! Peace ma brothers.
Damn! Vicious didn't even get one vote? Who were those judges? Tough decision, and a tough break. El Nino is a really talented B Boy, but I think some people just win based on fame. It's kind of like, "Well I think that he has the ability to rock the crowd and well...he's won before, so let's give it to him." Sometimes the judges have to let some of the up and coming guys that have worked so hard to make it advance to the next level. I'm an El Nino fan too, just saying.
@combknife i agree with you! Power is one of the most important part of bboying, but will be boring see a competition with bboys with the same "style" ( power moves) , search r16 2011 1vs 1 and u will know what i'm talking about.
