His ex still cares about him and his well being even though she's going to destroy the world. Hell, she cares about him more than he cares about himself. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I automatically bought this Gem after hearing "lovecraftian Max Payne" and man oh man did that game slaps! controls are fluid the level design is engaging the story and voice acting is absolutely amazing. even if the premise is a bit silly "my ex girlfriend is a vampire and wants to destroy the world" the writing and the voice acting makes you genuinly care about their relationship. Also the soundtrack of this game is fantastic, its one of the few games I found myself playing with headphones while playing. all in all I love this game

Looks like its about to set a new standard in the payne type of game! 😉 Sorry just had to, looks quite touching, and I loved the writing for the couple in Alien Spaceport so looking forward to this aspect as well. ❤

Dynamic between him and ex reminds me of Mona and Max Payne. I just wish game also had unique reload animation when done in bullet time like in Max Payne 2 but that's alright for what we have.
