I have 2 of these subs set up diagonally in a smallish room with one near field a few feet from the MLP . Plugging in one at a time I level matched them to the fronts using the AVR's test tone and then set the distance for the combined subs using an 80 Hz test one. After running the subs auto eq I gained a few db of output at the MLP and no localization.
Hello from Japan:). Nice video! I was interested in these but are you able to auto calibrate 2 subs running at the same time? I assume simultaneous measuring will be important but does this calibration method take that into account? thanks in advance!
Home Theater System Blog the 3010 has stereo in puts. If you are running one sub, I suggest using one channel for LE or video, and one for music. Use Audessy to calibrate video with the Chanel setting in ELAC phone eq system with everything maxed out and run eq wizard to get the volume, q, and frequency under control for video, assign it to cinema the run eq wizard for music and assign that to flat or music. What the levels on the video it could blowout the sub!
