I think a better series finale, especially considering Jerry’s real-life love for the film “The Graduate,” should’ve had Jerry dragging Elaine away from her wedding to Puddy by shouting ‘ELAINE! ELAINE! ELAINE!!’ from above the ceremony, then George and Kramer wreak havoc among the wedding guests, and the main four escape, giddy and laughing until their grins slowly fade and their faces fall. I just feel like it matches Seinfeld’s inherently cynical yet hilarious mood.
Elaine was at times the most tragic of characters on the show. While the rest of the gang embraced their eccentricities she was always going for success and admiration. This is what makes her so funny. The delivery from actress JLD is close to perfect which also helps of course.
When Seinfeld was super popular in my area, a works colleague told me she didn't think it was funny at all. "Why?" I asked. "Because all the people are really mean and horrible" she said. "That's why it's funny!" I replied.

Dee from it’s always sunny in Philadelphia also got jealous at someone getting married, and it’s not because the waitress is marrying her old boyfriend, but the fact the waitress is getting married first. This phenomenon should be studied.
I always wondered how Dreyfus’s hubby Christopher guest felt when Elaine never wanted to get married nor allegedly wanted children when they’ve been married for many years with children. I know what you are all going to say “it’s called acting” but still there had to be some residual effect. Just curious
of course, all actors' spouses go through that. Valerie Bure said he couldn't watch the kissing scenes that Candace would do and she respects that. But that may be why so many actors have been divorced a number of times.

No, only Jerry is Jewish. George converted to Latvian Orthodox, and Kramer only believes in Kramer. The dentist converted to Judiasm so he has all the jokes covered.
@@LePingouin92 No she isn't. She does have Jewish heritage, I do too, so do thousands of people but she doesn't practice it. Jewish is an ethnicity too. There are also people of Jewish ethnicity that are Christians. Julia is a mix of quite a few ethnicities, one I believe is Mexican. I don't believe in religions. There are atheist Jews. In the show she celebrates Christmas. They all go to Christmas parties.
