What a strong lady, horrible things happened to her. So sad to see the recent pictures of her I really hope she can get the help and support she needs with mental health and drink as she has clearly been through hell.

So tragic, apparently it was reported a few years ago she was basically living on the streets with her drink problem her appearance became unrecognizable from the actress we remember in eastenders no current info after 2007. I hope her life has improved in 2019.

Does Philip agree that's fame? I do think people in the entertainment industry are belonging to the public to a degree. They chose it & have lots of money unlike us who chose not to go into that industry.

Very sad shes aged a lot due to her drinking for now 51...dont think she ever went to rehab .....families not enough to her you with alcoholism as bad as hers....which her well....recent pics show she's struggling big time. So nervous here didn't really smile much....

Fern was 10 times better than holly.
