Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim Deck Doctor | Magic: The Gathering EDH 

I've been thinking about building Elas il-Kor for a bit, you've pushed me over edge. Great insights and play lines. Appreciate the inspiration from Ken as well... :D

I also recently built a version of Elas for my sister, but it was a Soul sisters version. She has just started in the game so its easier to pilot

I built an Elas deck. I'm still waiting for the day I get to pull off my combo with Blade of Selves. For those not familiar with that card let me tell you what it it. Blade of Selves is a 2 mana artifact equipment that equips for 4 and gives equipped creature myriad. Myriad does not make the tokens non-legendary, so go ahead and equip it to Elas. The rest of the combo includes any one of several token doublers (Mondrak and Anointed Procession being the obvious ones) and a death trigger doubler (Tesya Karlov or Drivnod, Carnage Dominus). The way it works should now be obvious. With 4 players in the game you swing Elas at anyone, it doesn't matter who. You get the myriad trigger and make two tapped and attack tokens that are copies of Elas, the doubler make those 2 tokens 4 instead. Each of the 4 tokens sees the other 3 enter, the original sees all 4 so you gain 16 life on ETB. The tokens then immediate die to the "Legend" rule. Same math going out as coming in, but doubled which means each opponent loses 32 life. And this is on the attack. Of course instant speed removal of any piece breaks the combo, but this would be an amazing way to win. And now with the new card Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation this combo can replace the token doubler and the death trigger doubler and make it so you only need 3 cards instead of 4 and the numbers change to 36 points of life drain & gain. Epic!

I also prefer Exsanguinate to Torment. Also love the Orshov version, "Debt to the Deathless" for two times X.

Having a Krav/Regna deck, I feel like I'm best buds with most of these cards already! Except the Sanguine/Exquisite combo because that's for filthy perverts 😤
