I teach Radio Frequency transmission lines (including co-axial cables) to professional radio engineers and can categorically state that ALL TV Co-Ax cables must transfer UHF signals which are ALWAYS analogue! The digital signal does not occur until the signal is processed inside the TV. Please ignore this misinformation on this video! No signal - get a more directional aerial and check that the polarity is correct for the are that you are in (vertical or horizontal).
Just got an elddis van and my TV will not hold signal, I've been and got a HD Coaxial cable like it says in video but still having the same problem but picture is better 😢
The only problems I had with our elddis crusader avtex arial was the shoddy workmanship resulting in loose internal aerial connections throughout the caravan, the coax hookup circuit is still dead but now connect via satalite hookup with coax adaptor. The actual stick was also loose!!!
But how do you raise the antenna. Instruction book doesn’t say, but sticker at base of antenna ‘rod’ (the bit that you turn for vertical/horizontal signals) says fully extend to use.
I currently have an elddis xplore 574 2014 model. Every time I travel I have to retune my tv which isn't a problem. However after picking up anywhere from 80 to over 100 channels the signal never seems strong enough and the picture is always jumpy. Is there any remedy to this.
He means get high quality CAI Benchmark cable like the WF100 instead of much cheaper versions of Coax.He just explained it very wrong and their isn't Digital cable and Analogue cable , there is just different quality of coax cable...It shouldn't make a difference if he used a small 50ohms patch lead when its only a Meter
